"Yes, Thorn?" Halloween asked her friend. Besides Thorn's expression, the two cats close connection told Halloween that something was wrong.

Thorn hesitated, "I-I just found out that I'm expecting." she looked down, "K-kits"

Halloween grinned. "Really?" Then she remembered Thorn didn't have an apprentice. Her smile turned to a slight forwn.

Bone woke up and padded out of the den, Ferno followed once he got up too

"Tell him!" Halloween mewed. "He'll figure out soon enough anyway." She knew Thorn must be nervous, though Halloween herself had never had a mate or kits.

Bone heard a yell, "that's coming from Halloweens den..."
Ferno looked at him, "Go see what it is, I'll organize patrols." he padded away
Bone nodded and padded to Halloweens den

Halloween lashed her tail as a warning for Thorn to be quiet. She watched Bone enter her den.

Thorn heard Halloween lash her tail, she wondered why until Bone came in. It was hard to keep her fur flat
"Sorry to disturb you two, but I heard someone yell." Bone said

Halloween looked at Bone. "No worries, Bone, Thorn's ears are still asleep. She can't tell how loud she's talking." She said with a slight chuckle.

Thorn sniffed "I don't know....."

Bone was assigned to lead a border patrol, his group went out of camp
Ferno started a hunting patrol, his group went out of camp too

Bone's patrol entered camp, they borders were freshly marked
