Vanessa, noting that Ritan was likely too nervous to talk, took over. "Oh, hello there!" She chirped in an enthusiastic greeting. "We're looking for someone, actually. Oh, and my name is Vanessa!" She gave Ritan a gentle nudge. "This is my friend Ritan."

"Nice to meet you both," Viney greeted. "Who are you looking for exactly?" "We don't know their name, that's the thing," Ritan answered.

Blinking, Vanessa paused for a few minutes. She was a bit hesitant about answering this question. "Informational books..." she began, tapping her chin in thought. "About... Pokemon."

His smile disappeared and he looked around. "Come with me, I'll answer your questions," Viney started walking to his house. Ritan blinked, before shrugging and following him.

Vanessa tipped her head to the side a little, unsure about the way Viney responded. She tailed the two, falling into step next to Ritan.

He opened his door to his house and stepped inside for the other two to enter. Ritan walked in, jumping when he saw something blue move. "Don't worry, Dit won't attack. Come on Dit, they're friendly," Viney said, making a shiny Ditto look at the two newcomers.
