Bounce sat down and listened to his story, intrigued. "How long have you been a King Alpha, if you don't mind the question." He asked, curiously.

"Years," answered the male. "Long enough that I'm feared and respected by all." He still seemed young though, the light of youth in his eyes and his fur holding a healthy sheen.

Bounce nodded, "I see." He didn't know what else to say, fearing that he might anger this King Alpha.

Dirius flicked his tail. "So, yes, again, I personally apologize for all that's happened. In fact, I'd like to put forward a suggestion, if you'd hear me out."

"The wolves under my rule are subject to my command. They cannot disobey, nor would they want to," he began thoughtfully. "Since they so badly want to steal territory for whatever reason I imagine they're actively trying to make themselves known. Thus, what would you say to letting them own this piece of land and accepting them as a pack?"

He pondered the suggestion for a few moments. "As long as the other pack leaders are fine with it, and that they stop attacking everyone, it's fine by me." He said.

Dirius looked over his shoulder and sharply barked, "You all, show yourselves!"
Reluctantly, wolves came streaming out of the trees. There were dozens of them, and they all looked nearly identical, all large and bulky with thick coats of shadowy black fur and intimidating amber eyes. They all bowed their heads in immense respect. One of them stepped forward. "We comply. Our attacks cease today."
"You're the alpha?" Dirius asked.
"Yes."
"No longer," he spat, and jumped down, swiftly and quietly ending his life with no hesitation. He tossed the body aside. "I'll lead you, at least, for the time being. That way I can supervise and choose someone more fit for the position of Alpha among you." He turned back around to look at Bounce. "Take the news to the other alphas then. You have a bird theme around here, do you not? In that case, refer to us as the Lightless Vultures."
(I don't care that lightless isn't a word it is now XD)

"Good. You may leave now." Dirius flicked his ears and the wolves parted to make an exit for Bounce.

Bounce nodded and walked out of the Lightless Vultures territory, he went to the Cardinals and Swans to tell them the news before going back home.

Darkness had been pacing nervously for the past few minutes before Bounce's return, hoping he wasn't in any harm.

Darkness waited impatiently for him to enter the camp. She paused in her pacing when she scented the familiar scent and padded for the entrance to the base, peering outside hopefully.

When he spotted Darkness, he padded up to her. "Hello," he greeted, a smile set on his face.

A smile broke out on her face. "You're back!" She exclaimed gleefully, swiftly approaching him and giving him a rough nuzzle. "Well? Did you find anything? Were you hurt?"

She blinked, ears perked and tail kinked. "A new pack?" She asked, head tilted.

"Mhm, they're called the Lightless Vultures. This wolf, that most call 'King Alpha,' said he's going to train and lead the wolves that have been attacking the Swans and us, until he finds someone suitable to lead them that is." He explained.

Darkness needed a few moments to take that all in. Once she'd processed everything, she opened her mouth to reply. "So, the attacks will stop then?" she asked hopefully. "And this 'King Alpha' sounds intimidating..."
