Wolfstar pinned Razorstar down, but he was able to throw her off and continue playing
Starkit nipped Hawkfire's hind leg hard, almost like a bite
Badgerkit stood on top of the deputy, "We defeated you!"

Hawkfire didn't notice the bite, he was having too much fun. "Yes you did. You'll be a great warrior." He praised the kit. "You all will."

Starkit let go and sat down, she watched Wolfstar and Razorstar play
Badgerkit leaped off of Hawkfire, "Thanks Hawkfire, but I wont be as good as you."
Wolfstar and Razorstar layed on the ground, side by side, panting. Both of their fur was ruffled and they were tired

Hawkfire smiled. "You might be." He praised. He sat up and shook himself. Then smoothed his fur.

Jawing looked at the Fireclan medicine cat, she wasn't paying attention to the two leaders. She didn't notice the Fireclan deputy. His name was Sootburn. Sootburn walked up to Hawkfire, "May I speak with you, in private." he asked.
Starkit glanced at the Sootburn, she looked at Badgerkit who did the same thing.
Wolfstar and Razorstar still layed on the ground

"Follow me." Sootburn walked out of camp and sat down by a tree near the entrance
Starkit and Badgerkit slunk in the shadows and soon hid in the walls of the camp, their pelts blended in

Hawkfire frowned. "No one told me either. I knew Wolfstar was expecting kits, it had been obvious, but I didn't know it was with Razorstar." He meowed.

Sootburn didn't change his point of view. "Well, those kits are half-blooded Fireclan. And there are four." he said. "Your leader needs to give two kits to Fireclan."
Badgerkit and Starkit narrowed their eyes, they didn't like the idea at all

As much as Hawkfire didn't like this idea, he didn't object. He didn't agree either. "That is a choice our leaders have to make. Not the deputies." He paused. "You don't expect a mother will give up her kits without a say, do you? Especially if she is leader." He paused again. "I'm not saying I disagree with you. But that doesn't mean I agree either." He finished. His eyes were narrowed.

Sootburn flicked and ear, he had a small smirk. "Unless more cats agree to the idea and the leader has to take a vote." he said, "About 10 cats in my clan agreed. The queens and elders disagreed, they being them. But most of my warriors have agreed to this idea."
Starkit and Badgerkit really hated this idea now, 'We have to plan something." Starkit thought

"But my clan will likely disagree. I understand your thinking, and it is smart, but you need to think further." Hawkfire pointed out. "A clan would never vote to send possible strong warriors away, especially not when the kit's mother is the clan's leader. And do you know Razorstar's thought on the matter? I'm not implying he would say 'no, keep them in Wildclan', I'm just saying it wouldn't be nice to go behind your leader's back."

"Heh, just watch me Hawkfire. Just watch." Sootburn hissed, before walking into camp. When he was gone, Badgerkit ran up to Hawkfire. "He cant split us up!" he mewed. "Mouse-brain." Starkit whispered, walking up to Badgerkit and Hawkfire

"Don't worry. I know Wolfstar well, and she won't let you go easy." Hawkfire soothed. "If I'm wrong, I'll be surprised." He was suddenly worried, but hid it well so the kits wouldn't also be worried.
