Squirrelpaw looked at the Medicine Cat den. "Hey Jaywing! I think Hawkfire's going mouse-brained from blood loss!" she called. "Then hit his head with a rock!" Jaywing called back. "Ok, thank you! Now I need to find a rock..." Squirrelpaw stood up, looking around, she was joking, but didn't seem like it.

Hawkfire pretended to faint. He fell back and closed his eyes. A few seconds later he opened them again. "I was dreaming about... Rivers and... Mice..." He mumbled, then started laughing.

Wolfstar was on patrol as Jaywing was gathering herbs. The kits were awake and helping with apprentice duties, because they wanted too. It just had to involve staying in camp.
