Our ancestors in the Dark Forest are worse than other clans." He shook his head. "You don't know how many traitors and killers there are."

His ears drooped slightly and he bowed his head. Then he shook his head and flicked his ears, giving a frustrated huff. "I've been chastised enough as of late. It's hard to take up a new position when all you receive is suspicion and sharp comments. I don't think I've gotten a lick of support as of late, and yet I'm expected to balance a whole clan on my shoulders no problem. I understand everyone is stressed out by recent happenings, but..." He trailed off, shaking his head again.

"Well, I'm sorry then. But that's what the rest of the clan seems to be trying to say. Or at least, that's how it feels." He flicked his ears again, not meeting the other leader's gaze. "I guess I'm just stressed too."

"It takes some time getting used to a new leader, I've been though it too." He flicked his tail. "What I mean though, is by family. Fireclan and Wildclan were not always allies. They had wars with each other, more brutal than battles you've had with Foxclan."
