"Nothing. Go home." The crystal said. Swamp pulled out a Stylist and captured Blade with ease. Blade roared in return. "Ehh?! No-!" Swamp captured the crystal with a capsule. "The crystal and Blade seem to be bonded. We're taking them back to the lab." Blaze and Scep showed up and Swamp told them what to do. Scep walked back with the capsule in hand and Blaze carried the captured Blade. Swamp looked at Thunder, "Get your companion. I'm afraid she's gonna have to see this. Main lab. You know where it is." Swamp said and started walking back.

Thunder nodded and flew back. He quickly explained everything to Vanessa, who nodded and started for the lab.

Blaze was typing on a panel and Scep was making sure the crystal was secure. Swamp was writing on a clipboard (somehow) as he researched the Shadow effects on Blade. Blade was roaring in the pod he was in, and he was trying to get out.

She walked inside, Thunder beside her. "He told me what happened." She said.

Swamp looked at her and nodded, then he pointed to Blade. "This is what's become of your friends partner, Blade. He evolved, but it was a forced evolution. A forced evolution hurts the Pokemon on the inside. He also isn't himself, and we can't change him back."

Swamp nodded, "And since he's one of the first Shadow Pokemon to be brought here. He's gonna be...tested. Experimented on and to find a way to reverse the the Shadow Pokemon. And maybe a way to find his ranger, your friends that's been missing for some time now." He sighed and pressed a button. Blade's roaring stopped and his muzzle was closed tightly and he became paralyzed.

"Anytime you'd like, but here." Swamp held out a silver bracelet and a little orb with Thunder's coloring and a strange mark. "Mega Evolve Thunder if you get in a big situation.

Thunder just shrugged. "Whatever you think will help. I won't be able to hold onto it when I'm fighting, I know that much."
