Stabs nodded, then saw the new Mega Evolution band on Vanessa. "What's that? Some new charm from a lover or somethin?" He asked.

She narrowed her eyes. She looked at Thunder, who nodded. "Allow me to show you." She touched her hand to the bracelet and watched as light encased the Pidgeot.

"Kyno! Move!" He barked, then tackled Vanessa.

Kyno was too late and powerful wings threw her off. The mega evolved Thunder let out a cry and attacked Stabs.
Vanessa yelped, trying fearfully to stay away from the Houndoom.

Stabs chuckled. "You think I don't know about Mega Evolutions!? We have our own mechine here for that!" Stabs barked and transformed into his Mega evolution. He counted Thunder's attack with Flamethrower. "Get the Ranger Kyno!" He barked.

As Kyno leaped for Vanessa, Thunder knocked her out of the way and then attacked Stabs with Hidden Power (Ground Type).

He dodged and used Fire Blast. "Get some friends! By the lake in the forest there should be someone there!" He barked.

Kyno nodded and leaped away.

He crowed and knocked Vanessa out of the way, blocking with Heat Wave. (I think that's the name of the move.)

He ran towards the mansion and hid. "Come on Kyno..." He muttered. At the lake was Shadow Pokemon, a Froslass. Beside her was a Shadow Electrike. They were talking quietly, they were a bit bored, but they enjoyed the quiet.

The Froslass nodded, so did the Electrike "Let's go Spark." Froslass said. "Coming miss." The Electrike replied. "Lead the way." The Froslass said.

Spits growled, "Hurry..." He whispered.

Froslass and Spark stood in front of Thunder. Spits jumped out of his hiding spot. "Great! Just in time!" He said. The Shadow Froslass looked at Thunder, Spark was battle-ready beside her. "What are you after that's so important that these two have?" She asked. "You aren't bypassing me until you tell. Don't tell and you'll just be waisting time."

Thunder looked at the two of them, growing a little nervous. "We simply want- no, we need to talk to XD. Two of our best friends hang from a dangerously thin thread here. We just want to help them."
