Zou sat up, "Both of you need to stop quarreling with each other." she barked. Wing nodded, "Come here, both of you." Fang and Shadow walked over to Wing... To be washed. "Stop it." Fang barked, "Ugh, dad..." Shadow muttered. Zou had her ears flattened, "I don't like acting like a mother, even though I am." she whispered to Daz. Flint had fallen asleep, he looked like a small, grey, furball.

Daz looked at Zou. "Does Wing do all of the mother stuff, then?" She whispered back.

"No. He didn't nurse them when they were pups, and he doesn't like me going out of the den alone. When I try to he pulls me back by my tail." Zou replied quietly

Zou was silent. She watched Fang and Shadow trying to get away from Wing, who wasn't finished washing the two. Zou looked at Flint, he was still sleeping, but he looked peaceful. "Hey Daz, can I tell you something?"

"The pups don't know this, but neither does Wing." Zou whispered, "I actually had a fourth pup." she glanced at Wing and the pups, who didn't pay attention to her

"She was born dead, she was late and I didn't notice she was still in my belly." Zou whispered, "Wing and the pups were fully fed and asleep. I had to sneak out and bury her." she glanced at Wing and the pups, Wing was on the ground while Shadow and Fang were tackling him, Flint was still at her paws. "I hated myself after that for days, and I still do hate myself. If Wing and the pups knew, they would dislike me for who I am, seeing a dead pup at my paws." she remembered what the pup looked like. "She looked like Wing, but with bright green eyes and light grey swirls markings, she looked like someone I knew. I wish she didn't die."

Daz tried not to frown, not wanting to make anyone suspicious. "Ouch." She commented.

Zou was silent, she looked at Flint again. She liked how Flint was usually the calm one out of the three. Shadow was the strong one and Fang was the prideful one. Zou wondered how those to pups got their personalities

Flint went into the den, then came back out with a moss ball. He tossed it to Daz, he then spun around and stood in a playful position
