Scarlet mewed "Thank you." She stood up, pretending to look the same as she always was, and walked into camp. She picked up a vole from the fresh-kill pile and went straight to her den. Cats looked at her but were soon told off by the deputy

Dexter was careful not to go near any borders. He managed to catch a blackbird and a mouse, then decided to head back.

Scarlet finished the vole and exited her den. She leaped onto the dumpster. "Clan meeting!" she yowled

Dexter arrived just in time to hear the meeting. He dropped off his prey and sat among the group of cats.

Scarlet had to keep herself from smiling. She touched her nose with his. "Be ready for battles, anger, regret, and sorrow, Dexter. Dreadclan is harsh to warriors." She meowed. Scarlet stepped back and sat down, she dipped her head to him. She soon heard cats saying "Dexter! Dexter!" Chants for Dexter. Scarlet disappeared into her den as cats walked up to Dexter and congraduated him

Scarlet curled up in her nest. She didn't feel like being among the others right now. "What's wrong with me?" she asked herself. She layed her head down and relaxed
