She watched him. She knew something big was about to happen. She went silent. She had no idea how to comfort this adult cat. The best tigerlily could do was press her small body into his fur.

"What is it?" He asked. Scarlet smiled, "Congrats. You have a son and daughter." "WHAT!?" Flame yelled and started running. Scarlet looked at Tigerlily, "Come on, we have some new clan-mates too see." She said, smiling.

Tigerlily bounded after the two cats falling slightly behind. She falls accidentally over a crack and tumbles.She crys out.

Scarlet walked over to Tigerlily and crouched down. "Get on my back, ok? And hold on. I don't like picking kits up by the scruff, I feel like I'm making them feel awkward."

Scarlet knew what Flame told her, but decided to just be calm....and hide part of the truth and lie a bit. "He's just worried about his mate and kits. He wants to be there for them and raise them. He's just worried that he'll be too busy to be a father." She entered camp, and called Leif. The tortoiseshell tom gently picked Tigerlily up the scruff and set her down on the ground. "Let me see your paw, Tigerlily." Leif said gently.

She lifted her paw up for him and almost snapped when he touched it. It hurt and she didn't want him touching it. She knew Scarlet lied to her. She wanted to find her and get scarlet to tell her. Tigerlily heard a screech and she jumped as her mother ran in licking her fur.Tigerlily tryed to push her mom away.

Scarlet calmed Lula down. "Lula! Lula! She's okay! Calm down!" Scarlet said, pushing her back a bit.
"This is going to hurt, but I'll make it fast. Ok?" Leif said. He toke some cobwebs and a stick. He placed the stick by the way and wrapped her paw and the stuck up tight. He was done in a flash. "There you go, just don't play, run, or walk on that paw. If you start feeling pain and the cobwebs start coming off, call me. Oh, and here. Have a Poppy Seed to ease the pain." He said, giving Tigerlily the small seed.

She ate it up and layed down in his den.She watched her mom and scarlet. She wanted to ask more questions, but she was tired. She fell fast asleep her paw stretched out.

Dexter was sitting by the nursery. He looked up as Flame and Scarlet ran in. He couldn't help but chuckle at the tom's expression.
