Dexter finished and bounced up to Scarlet. "Let's go!" He mewed excitedly. He was acting like the energetic kittypet he was when he first came.

Scarlet was walking towards, well, as it seems, Cloudclan. It was true, but then she turned and started walking towards part of the forest that had a lot of pine trees(= Pineclan)

Dexter followed Scarlet. He thought he could see lots of pine trees, but didn't mention it.

Scarlet stopped the border, "Stay quiet, and follow my lead." she meowed, breaking the silence for only a moment. She crossed the border, she climbed a tree and she hid in the pines. The pine trees had a musky scent, so it hid her scent.

Dexter climbed the tree next to Scarlet's and made sure he was hidden.

Scarlet flicked an ear, she saw at least four cats. Two apprentices and two warriors. Scarlet recognized them as Waspstripe (tan tom with black stripes and paws, yellow eyes) and his apprentice, Cricketpaw (Light brown tom with grey stripes, amber eyes), and then there was Owlecho (Dark brown she-cat with small light brown spots, amber eyes) and her apprentice, Wisperpaw ( White she-cat with grey spots, blue eyes). Scarlet waited, she knew she and Dexter were right above their training grounds

Scarlet shook her head, showing she was signaling: 'Not yet.' She looked at Dexter, she pointed her tail at him, then at the apprentices. She looked back at the four cats.

Wisperpaw tackled Dexter, she went after him as Cricketpaw got up. Scarlet was fighting Owlecho and Waspstrpe at the same time

Dexter kicked Wisperpaw away and swung claws towards Cricketpaw.

Owlecho bit Scarlet's throat hard. Scarlet scratched her eye and threw her off. Owlecho's leg was bleeding badly and Waspstripe ran to her. "Lets go!" Scarlet yelled, she started running.
