The ice melted and Darkblood put his tongue back in his mouth. "Thanks." he said, he still sounded numb

"I-I was thinking...what do you think about..." Darkblood started to say, "Dragonlings" (aka: Baby Dragons)

Atra opened her mouth to reply, then tensed slightly. "Well... I don't know many good words... Cute, playful, funny?" She suggested. She was thinking about what else he could mean.
(The dreaded word: DRAGONLINGS!!! *Dun dun duuuuuuuun!* )

"No...I meant having them, as kids." Darkblood said, he raised his head and looked at Atra. He had his head titled slightly

Atra knew she couldn't avoid the question any longer. She took a moment to think about it, and realized the answer was a positive one. But not knowing how to word a reply, she simply nodded, grinning. Then a question came to mind. "What tribe will they be in?"
(Long post... O.O)

Darkblood didn't think that far, he looked down. After a few minutes, he looked back at Atra, "Yours."

(Not as long as I thought... Looked long on my iPod. xD )
"But what if some are death and some are dark?" Atra asked, completely ruining her point.

Darkblood shook his head, "They need to be with you. They learn best by the mother, not the father."

Atra sat down. "Yeah, I guess." She said, resting her head against Darkblood once more. "What if the tribes question us?" She asked suddenly, straightening again. She had too many questions...

Darkblood nuzzled her, "Would they really be surprised? They know we break rules, and the others, who cares?"

Atra settled again, for good this time. "Yeah, you're right." She said in a content grumble.

Darkblood stared into the water, "Besides, I have a Dark Shard dragon to take care of when it hatches." he said, digging up the shard. "It can't be a rouge dragon. And I think we should keep this a secret, not the shard I mean."

"The dragonling?" Atra asked.
(What does the shard do?)

(Remember when Darkblood tackled one of his one warriors)
He shooke his head, "No, us. Our own warriors might think we're going soft. We can't let that happen." Darkblood picked the shard up and looked at it. "We want to be remembered as feared dragons when we leave the tribe, not as soft lizards. You get what I mean, right?" he asked, looking at her
