"We don't either, it happened about a week or two after you disappeared." Nea snapped, coughing after she said that. Lea shook her head, "Fyden, you've been gone for years. And during your absence, everyone was killed and turned into this." She gestured to how she looked. "You're the only human alive, that we know of anyway."

"Years? But just a few minutes ago I was there, in the shop!" He argued, refusing to believe what he was hearing.
Masky, who stood behind him, seemed just as confused.

Fyden frowned and relaxed, dismissing his disbelief. However he had gotten here didn't matter at the moment, he was here now and that was that. "So... You're all ghosts now?"

The younger, dead girl nodded. "All the other mysteries are alive, they weren't affected. Like that no face, slender guy."

"No, but at times they'll come through here. Almost like they're patrolling." Lea replied, coughing a little. The faint blow glow that surrounded her wavered and she started swaying, resorting to leaning against the wall.

Lea screeched and her hands went to her chest and stomach. She fell to the ground, wheezing and crying, her aura was fainter than before, until it lit up again.
"Once in awhile, we'll experience our death again, resorting to immense pain," Nea said. "I suffocated, while Lea was stabbed with a sharpened tree branch...twice, once in the chest, and the other to her stomach."

He winced. "O-oh... That's awful..." He murmured, clutching his own stomach as though sharing her pain. "Well... Is there anything I should know? If not I'm going to do some exploring."

"Be careful and don't trust anyone. Including us." Nea said, "We were told that anything could happen, like being controlled." She looked at Lea to see her still wheezing. "And I want to talk to you when you come back, we'll be inside." She picked Lea up and dragged her inside.
