"Mhm," she confirmed with a nod. "Different, though." Then she lazily shifted her glance to Wave. "Crab," she said.
Wave blinked and turned her head, jumping when a crab with a sickly green shell snapped at her. She spat in annoyance and stabbed it with an icicle, watching as it flinched and then fell still. The monitor lizard nodded and looked back at Xyvear. "And she's elemental."

"I'm alive," the lizard commented with a yawn, resting itself on the ground. "Surprise." She licked the edges of her maw, collecting green saliva on her tongue and pulling it back into her mouth. "I didn't always drool green, though. And... Wasn't as venomous. But still venomous. Makes hunt easy. But I guess Dragon always has easy hunt. Right?"
Wave watched, a bit bothered by the lizard's odd personality.

"Depends on what the Dragon is hunting," he replied. "I'm not sure how hunting will be now either."

"For me, easier," she responded, which was mostly repeating herself. "And eating things mean I become better... Temporarily. Only few minutes it lasts. But still." She shrugged her scaled shoulders. "I ate fish, grew gills. That's how I swim under ice."
(So there's my little lizard's power. Not only does she drool acid, but when she eats things she gains one of their traits for a few minutes.)

Xavier nodded, setting his head down on the ground. "Interesting. What temporary power do you receive if you eat, if given a chance, a dragon or wolf?" He asked, multiple questions coming and going in his head.

"If I ate Dragon I could grow wings or breathe fire. Or maybe have a new tail. Not always useful, sadly." She sighed. "A wolf? Maybe I'd be furry." She snickered. "Not all food give good power. Elemental wolf like her, though," she gestured to Wave, "possibly gain her powers. Mm, spitting ice..." She seemed to think about this, snake-like tongue flickering out of her mouth.

"Mm. Likely. But wouldn't try. Wolf isn't tasty." She shook her head. "Fur too thick. Not suitable for meal unless starved or need powers. Yes."
Wave looked uncomfortable.

"I-I'm fine..." Wave insisted with a dismissing shake of her head. "But," she looked at the monitor, "what's your name, anyway?"
"Name?" The lizard asked. "Hm... Name... Name is Lexra."

Xyvear sat up and nodded, "Lexra, fitting name." A question came to his head. "Where have your travels taken you, to the point when this strange goo arrived?"

She nodded. "Asked Wolf on lake for fish," she explained, pointing with a claw towards where she'd met Ice. "Nice Wolf caught fish for me."
