The healer was sorting herbs when she heard a cough. She poked her head out from her den and saw River. "River, nice to see you. Come on in."

Skull caught the mouse and ate it
Rabbit put the prey on the pile and started watching the clan.

(Erm... Was the healer here named Crystal, or was that Meadow? If it was Meadow, the name for this healer can be Rain. All I could think of.  ) River nodded and walked in. He paused in his walking and had a coughing fit. Then he shook his head in frustration and sat down inside. |

Rain checked River, "Seems you have Whitecough. I'll give you some catmint and tansy." she said. She went to her herb stores, in a few minutes, she came back with some catmint and tansy. She set them down in front of River. "Eat up."

River nodded, eyes dim in disgust, and ate the herbs. The catmint didn't taste too bad, but he didn't like the tansy.

"Oka-" River cut himself off with a loud sneeze. He shook his head, then turned back to Rain. "What?"

"I was gathering herbs today, and I saw three badgers, dead in one spot. There was a stale cat scent, but not one I recognized." Rain meowed, "It's strange, isn't it?"

River sniffed. "Weird." He mewed, before going into a coughing fit.

Rain went to her herb stores and came back with a honey comb. She put the honey onto a leaf and pushed it closer to River. "This should help with the coughing, and your throat, if your throat hurts that is."

River nodded, it felt as if claws were raking his neck and throat. But he choked on the honey, because he tried to eat some before the coughing was over. Eventually he was done coughing and gagging and managed to eat the honey in peace. (Poor River ) |

River nodded and walked to a nest near the wall of the den. It felt nice to just sink into the moss and relax, especially when he was usually out hunting and patrolling at this time. And all day long.

Rain saw a fang come in and they started to talk. The only thing River would hear was: "Grey fur? There are many cats with grey fur. Besides, who ever killed the badgers didn't kill any colony cats, we'll be fine." Rain meowed. The tom nodded, "It would take a couple of days warriors to move the badgers, we need all the help we need." Rain nodded and the tom left

River just ignored the cats. He wasn't in the mood for hearing about badgers. Or anything really. He was a bit cranky.
