Emerald just stared at Ember for a second. Then changed the subject. "It's a lot better out here then trapped behind the door of my housefolk's den." She sighed. "I don't think a scratching post will ever be better than a tree."

"Um..." Emerald hesitated, not sure how to reply. She flicked her tail tip. "The winters can't be that bad with all these trees around, can they?" She looked around. Surely the tall, leafy trees would shield the worst of the wind and snow. Which would mean the prey would stay around. But she was starting to have doubts.

"My father has been in the forest when it was winter. He said it was really cold and not much prey. He also said that the winds can be a bit harsh too." Ember said, flicking an ear. "Hey, tell ya what. If you ever need a place for warmth, come here. My housefolk don't mind other cats around or inside the house. Mostly because they aren't around a lot."

Ember went inside and looked around. "They always keep the heat on for me, but never come home. Do they not like me?" she mewed. "They're just too busy." Ember looked behind her and saw Storm in bandages. "Glad your back." she mewed, laying down. "I am too, but I'm tired." he said, laying down beside her. They both fell asleep in the empty house.

(Nice to see your taking interest in the other rps, but you'll have to wait for Wolf to come on to accept it  ) Emerald got bored of exploring soon after and climbed a tree. She sat in the thickest branch of the tall oak, so that she wouldn't fall if she accidentally fell asleep. And that she did. |

( I feel late XD ) I was a playful kitty in my house but i was very curious about what was in the woods .. so I decided to see what it was like to be free * " I am so nervous " i whisper my bright aqua blue gem stoned collar was dangling * I was at the edge of where the forest And my rich land owners were... I took a step in the woods but scampered back to my house scared* |

Soon Ember and Storm woke up and padded out of the empty house. They leaped up onto the fence and looked into the forest, wondering if anything exciting is going to happen.

Emerald was eating a mouse under a bush. Her fur(which I forgot the colour of xD) was slightly ruffled, and her eyes were dim.
