Shadow's small group had grown over the past week. Her persuasive skills and silky voice made it easy to bring fighters and killers to join her. They even made rivals with a neighbouring group.
Shadow, at the moment, was relaxing on the tree.

"I made a fat mouse. What did you make Wolf?" Blaze asked her. Wolf looked up at him, "Me as a big, strong cat. Like you." she mewed. Blaze looked at the picture Wolf did, he liked it, except for one thing. Wolf had included sharp claws. "You can be big and strong without claws." Blaze said. Wolf nodded, "I know, its just I want to be tough. Tougher than that black she-cat from last week." Blaze thought for a moment, "Keep sharpening your skills, learn new skills, and you can beat her. Just remember, don't be blinded by fury." Wolf nodded. "Can I go hunting?" she asked. Blaze thought for more than a moment until he said, "Ok. Just be careful. If you see any cats, hide. And if they attack, run back here." he instructed. Wolf didn't like the last sentence, "Ok." she said. Wolf exited the den and went hunting. Blaze stretched, "She'll be fine, as long as she follows what I say. What's the worst that can happen?"

Shadow decided to go hunting. She called a servant to come with her to carry half the prey back. She was planning on catching more than she could carry, along with some she wouldn't take back. "Stay hidden, If I hear even a mutter, it's to the torture room." The black cat warned, before walking into the darkness of the forest.

Wolf saw a squirrel in a tree, 'Lets try my trick out.' she thought. She dashed towards the tree quietly, jumped towards the tree trunk, jumped off and twisted off of the trunk, and grabbed the squirrel's tail with her jaws as she hanged on the tree with her sharp claws. She killed the squirrel quickly. "That went perfectly." she mewed. She climbed down the tree and continued hunt. She soon caught two voles, a crow, and three mice, plus the squirrel she caught first. Wolf put her prey together and soon was stalking a rabbit, 'this one will do me, and dad good.' she thought.
(Fight over rabbit?)

(Okay.)
There was a flash of black and a cut off squeal of shock. Shadow's black head lifted with her prey in her jaws. Her muzzle was soaked in red liquid.

Wolf wasn't afraid, she stepped out from the bushes. "That was my rabbit." she meowed, crossed. "And you just dash in and kill it for yourself!"

Shadow turned towards the voice to see the kit from a while ago. "My territory, my prey." She replied simply before padding off with her tail high.

Wolf narrowed her eyes, "Pfft, flea-pelt." she muttered. She saw a squirrel in the tree by her and did her trick again. Run towards the tree quietly, leap, leap off the tree trunk and twist, and extend your body to catch the prey. Wolf walked off with the squirrel, she picked up the prey she caught earlier and went back to the den where Blaze was

Shadow finished hunting and walked back to the building she and her cats lived in.

Wolf went inside the den and showed her father what she caught. They ate and talked, "I meet that black cat again." Wolf mewed. "Did you hid?" Blaze asked. Wolf shook her head, "No, she toke a rabbit that I was about to catch, it was a fat one too!" she raked her claws on the ground. "I want to get to know her better, know her secrets, then beat her to a fur-ball!" she said. Blaze toke another bite of the squirrel, "No, I told you about your grandfather, don't be like him. But it's a good idea to know what her weaknesses are." he said. Wolf nodded and role another bit of the vole
(I'm going to make another character, he'll be one of Shadow's cats)

Shadow frowned as one of her battle patrols returned from attacking the Obscurities rival, each cat wounded and bleeding, but grinned when they started cheering of victory. Then she frowned again. "Is anyone dangerously wounded?" She questioned, then sighed in relief when they all shook there heads.
(Just proving that Shadow does have a heart. xD )

A dark silver and light brown slid over to Shadow, "Seems that the battle patrol had a great victory. That's good news to hear." he meowed. His amber eyes seemed to glow, in interest of how the battle went.

Wolf asked if she could go hunting again and Blaze said yes. He knew she wasn't a kit anymore, she was an apprentice that was ready to explore, hunt, and fight. He was happy about that as he saw Wolf exit the den. He curled up in the den and fell asleep, he was a light sleeper and could wake up if he heard a stick snap
Wolf disappeared into the bushes, she wanted to find another rabbit

"Quite." Shadow replied. She spotted the interest in his eyes. "Why don't you go ask them how it went, then report back." She mewed, hiding a snicker.

"Oh ha ha Shadow. I don't need to report a thing by how they sound, it was a victory that was worth winning. I wonder how the other battle patrols are doing." he wondered. "Anyway, I'll be out hunting. I want to see what I can find." his tail waved in the air as he looked outside

Wolf had hunted a sparrow, robin, a few mice, a vole, and two shrews. She was still hunting for a rabbit

"Hey." Acis said, "You get me, as always. See you later Shadow." he dipped his head and exited camp. 'Outside, finally.' he thought. He had found a rabbit immediately and started stalking
Wolf found a rabbit, 'Yes!' she thought. She started stalking

Wolf and Acis leaped at the same time, Acis killed the rabbit first though. "Hey, that mine!" Wolf spat. Acis looked at her and his eyes went wide, "Uh...um....ehh....here." he stuttered, giving her the rabbit. Wolf blinked, "You seem nice, but you smell similar to that black cat." Acis blinked, "That's Shadow and I'm nothing like her." he said quickly. Wolf liked him already, "I'm Wolf, and I'm 6 moons old. Who're you?" "Acis, I'm 12 moons old." he mewed, sitting down. Wolf smiled and walked up to him until they were whisker to whisker. "Your pretty neat. Want to be my friend?" she asked. Acids nodded, "Sure." Wolf smiled, "Want to meet up again tomorrow? My dad won't mind." Acis didn't understand Wolf at all, but he liked her. "O-okay." Wolf tackled him and stood over him, Acid was on his back looking up. "Finally, I can have a friend that isnt my father!" she said. She blinked, "Later Acis." she mewed. Wolf bounded over to the rabbit, picked it up, then went to get the other prey. Acis stood up and shook, "I'll have to wait until she's 8 moons, but until then, I'll be her friend. Man, she's quick with character." he sniffed and started stalking 3 squirrel which were eating nuts by tree roots.
(I wanted to go fast with the two)
