Shadow first asked a passing patrol if they had seen Acis. The leader pointed her tail, and Shadow nodded her thanks and trotted off.

Blaze continued to follow, ignoring the patrol as he passed them.
Acis and Wolf climbed farther up the tree, they soon made it to the top and they enjoyed the view

Blaze flicked an ear. "I feel your going to do more than talk to him. Besides, they might hear us or feel us climb the tree and scatter." he had his eyes narrowed, "I know most of the cats here fear you, and they'll run when they get a chance. I've been through that kind of thing before."

"Obviously you've never seen me climb." Shadow spat, and started climbing. She climbed slowly, but without disturbing leaves or even making a noise.

Eventually Shadow was right behind the two cats. She smirked and poked the tom with a claw.

Acis jumped and spun around, Wolf did the same. "S-Shadow!" he said, feeling fear. Blaze grabbed Wolf's scruff and she yowled and hissed in surprise and rage. Acis looked at her, he felt terrified. Wolf growled at Blaze. "Let go!" she snapped, Blaze kept his grip on her. "Watch your tone Wolf!" he snapped back. Acis didnt run, he just felt hollow inside, and he didn't like it

Shadow moved her paw and adjusted her stance so that if Acis tried to escape, his throat would be split wide open immediately. "What are you doing here with... Her?" She asked in an angry, sly tone.

Acis tried to calm down, but his fear never went away. "I-I'm her mate..." he said. "I know I'm in deep trouble here, just don't kill me, please" he begged
Wolf was quiet, unsure on how the situation will end

"No!" Wolf yelled. She threw Blaze off, and he almost fell of the branch. "Punish me! Please!" she begged. Acis looked at her, then back at Shadow. "Don't listen to her! I'll take the punishment!" Blaze stood up, his eyes narrowed. "There are more things hidden that we don't know." he said to Shadow. He grabbed Wolf and pulled her back, "What are you hiding?" he asked.

Shadow nodded. "I know." She replied. Then her smirk grew to a grin. "A lifetime in the torture clearing, just barely keeping you alive, along with the loss of your rank?" She meowed softly. "Yes... That sounds just fine... Maybe I'll add that you never get to leave, and the only fresh air you'll get is the stench of the blood of your kin... Unless you have a better idea?" The sly black cat's eyes weren't glowing with excitement as one might expect, but instead she seemed to be straight up furious.

Acis looked at Wolf, who nodded. "If you kill my kin, you wont get more cats to rule over," Acis said, "Yes, I know I broke a rule, but think about for a minute. You want to be the strongest one in this forest, and to do that, you need a lot of cats to do that. Wolf told me how rogues work and loners. She and Blaze came from a clan that killed on command. Both of them are looking for a home, no matter what happens to them."
Blaze pinned Wolf down, "You told him about Bloodclan and became his mate? Seriously?"
Wolf growled, "Why not? Wouldn't you do the same for Sparrow(Wolf's mother)?"
Blaze muttered something under his breath. "Yeah.." he muttered, "And your a lot like her."

Shadow shrugged. "I'd rather be rid of a bloodline of traitors than have a crowded territory." She mewed. "And bigger isn't always better." Her pupils narrowed into little slits, making her look a bit creepy.

"Bigger means more cats to rule over, more to control." Acis said. Wolf shook her head, "What do we have to do so we can live?" she asked. Blaze let Wolf go, knowing she wouldn't run. Blaze blinked, "Yes, what do they have to do to stay alive? Including the kits that'll be coming." he asked. Wolf and Acis hoped they got a good answer
