Abyss wasn't quite sure what that meant, but he stopped tensing and making pain sounds.

Since Chiaro didn't get an answer, she figured Aybss' didn't understand what she said. "Do you see the stitches on my mouth," she asked, not looking at him, just at his wing

Chiaro nodded, "Yeah, this place tortures or kills the new dragons that are brought here. Soon it'll be your turn, but don't worry, I have a plan so you wont have to feel any pain. And I'm done with your wing." she put the needle, thread and leather away. "How is it?"

Chiaro put a paw on Abyss' neck and pulled a scale out. "I'm going to switch roles with you. So you wont feel pain, or get killed."

Chiaro's light dimmed down, she toke a scale of her own. "You'll have to look like me, and I'll look like you." she thought of something, "You'll have to wear my goggles too." she muttered. She put the scales in separate bowls, added water, and crushed the scale up. She toke a red scale from Abyss and toke a white scale from herself. She did the same with those scales. "We have at least two days to get ready. They wont feed you, but I'll share my food with you."

Chiaro sat down and toke off the goggles. She looked at Abyss. Her eyes were clouded, she wasn't blind, but she didnt look like it. "Those 'Monsters also did this to me'" she said, "My sight is fine, but they made me look like this so I wouldn't get help or have anyone to talk to. Dragons say "You can see one's souls by their eyes." when dragons see me, they say I don't have a soul, but I do."
