Veleno jumped, Yui stayed calm. "And that's exactly what everyone is feeling in this prison, just add death to your words and that's what this place is." He said. "And in here, they want us to be extinct. You said your mother died after you were born, that's rare. The ones keeping us in here, we're the ones who killed her. You were spared, why? We don't know."

She laughed. "No, it wasn't them. When they found her she was already weak. The rest of her energy was sapped during birth and it was downhill from there. Though I will give you this; they didn't bother helping. No food or enrichment. They watched her fade just as I was forced to." Her shielded expression had faltered, replaced by anger and sadness. In a soft voice, she continued, "Sure, they wanted her dead. But why not make me suffer, hm? Force me to watch her take her last breath and be stuck with that memory?" She shook her head, swiftly regaining her composure. "If all you've come to do is anger me, you can leave. This is a waste of my time." She jumped into the air despite her lack of legs and glided to the other side of the cage.

Veleno back up. Yui sighed, "They wanted, you to keep that memory. Because they know how much pain there is when you see a loved one die right in front of you. Sorry for making you relive the pain ma'am. We'll leave you be." He closed the little window and walked back to Chiaro.
