Abyss nodded. Then his belly rumbled. "Mm... I'm hungry," he commented with a swish of his tail.

"Then eat the fruit that's around here," the poison called from the tree.

Abyss heard and went on a hunt for fruit. He collected fruit until he'd eaten his fill, then returned, pleased. Yes, life would indeed be better from then on. He had a proper supply of food, what else did he need?

When Abyss returned, the treehouse was cleaned up. There were less vines covering the house and it just looked cleaner general. Chiaro was still laying in the patch of flowers.

Abyss gazed around at the neatened up area. "looks nice," he commented to no one in particular. Then he looked over at Chiaro and walked over. "How are you feeling?"

Chiaro opened her eyes and looked up at him. "Legless and wingless," she said blandly.

"I was in a similar position a while ago," Abyss reminded her, flexing his robotic hind legs. "I know how you feel." He didn't like seeing her in such a state.

"I was the one who built you those legs, and I remember." She sighed. "Making artificial legs means supplies and materials, I can't move as much as I wanted to before to even gather them. You also still have your wings, I don't."

"But I could gather materials," he offered. Her pessimism really dampened his mood. "If you wanted.

"It all depends where you look. Finding materials in a forest is harder than being in a cave." She replied.

"Of course. But I'm an Earth Dragon, I was made for tunnelling and ore-finding and such," he reminded her, flexing the claws on one of his paws.

"It's not as easy as you think. There's lava, and cave dragons aren't that friendly." She replied.

"I can deal with that. If my old group could do it, I can." He shrugged. His parents were always teaching him about life underground before he was separated from them.

Chiaro tilted her head, "Depends on how old the cave dragons where when your group encountered them. Heck, some of them look like monsters more than dragons."

Abyss shrugged. "I don't know about that," he admitted, "but I did hear they could be pretty scary..."

"There is one thing I remember about them, or when I was taught by one of them." Chiaro started. "They can only see movement. They can hear, eat, kill, but they can only see movement. If you are caught by one, again depending on their age, they will either eat you alive, crush your skull, or rip your head off."

Abyss winced, edging backwards. "O-oh..." He looked rather discouraged.

"Again, there is one of them that I know who isn't so bad. If you find him, you're fine for eternity." She yawned, laying her head down.

He perked up a little. "I see," he answered, watching as she yawned. "Well, I guess I should go now," he decided, turning and starting to walk off. She seemed tired; he didn't want to irritate her longer.

"Talk to Veleno, he knows this forest better than us." She murmured, curling up into a ball and dozing off.
