Owlstar walked over and sniffed. "It smells like-!" He grabbed Tigerpaw's scruff and jumped back as a badger came out of the den. He put the apprentice down and unsheathed his claws. Another badger followed the first one. "Two of them. We're going to have to fight!" He snarled.

Firepelt got ready and his fur bristled. Tigerpaw yelps at the large creatures. She hissed and got in a defensive crouch.

"Flame pelt, Tigerpaw, go after the smaller one. I'll get the big one!" He said and ran towards the bigger badger.

Flamepelt and Tigerpaw go after the smaller one. They get it to back off they work together to run it off. Tigerpaw turns looking to help with the other badger. She spots the badger ready to take a blow at Owlstar. "Owlstar watch out. "She meowed and jumped in the way of the claws. Firepelt jumped in growling.

The badger stopped its claws and looked at Tigerpaw. It growled before it raised its paw, ready to slash the apprentice. Owlstar toke the blow and was thrown, his side bleed from the badgers sharp claws. The badger went over to him, ready to deal a killing blow to Owlstar. The leader couldn't move.

Tigerpaw ran over and jumped on the baders back pushing sinking her teeth on it's neck.she clung as it backed up trying to throw her off.Tigerpaw clung to the badger as it tried to shake her. The badger finally swipes her off slamming her into a rock. Firepelt jumped in and grabbed the badger by the throat not letting go till it was dead. He stumbled over to Owlstar. "You okay?"He asks. He looked at his leader. He wanted to make surw Owlstar was okay before he went to his apprentices side.

Tigerpaw lay slumped against the rock. She had a claw marks down her flank. Firepelt nudged her."come on Tigerpaw please be okay." He says. She stirred and let out a painful meow."Owlstar okay" Tigerpaw asks weakly.

Tigerpaw dipped her head and closed her eyes in pain. Her leader was safe. Firepelt picked her up by the scruff gently.

Firepelt carries Tigerpaw back with Owlstar. They had put his apprentice in danger so what the clan would not be in danger. He shook these thoughts off as they walked into camp.

Blossomclaw was resting in her den. Her eyes were closed but she was awake. She didn't think she could sleep. She was thinking about the dream she had. 'What else will come of this?' She wondered grimly.

The group entered camp and Owlstar hard trouble moving his paws. Some of the warriors and apprentices saw them and asked what happened. Owlstar didn't reply to any of them.

Tigerpaw hung in Firepelts jaw. She was limp and unmoving. He dragged her to Blossomclaws den. He bristled as whispers started to spread.
