"Why should I?" Owlstar asked, his voice scratchy and quiet still. "I sound like an old, sneaky loner. Keep your herbs and go before you get sick as well." He coughed and his stomach growled.

"Your clan still needs you, whether you can talk or not, and starving yourself won't help in the slightest." Blossomclaw pointed out.

"And? I'm not the best leader, so why not let the deputy become leader when i die?" Owlstar meowed, "Besides, I have no one here that is my kin. I'm the odd one here."

Blossomclaw's long whiskers twitched, her expression clear annoyance. She left the den. A few moments later, she returned, dropped off some leaves and a mouse, then left without a word. "Maybe he'll change his mind after staring at that mouse for a while." The medicine cat mewed to herself as she walked away. It was worth a shot.

Owlstar went out the back way of his den. He went into a hole that was in the tree and fell asleep.

Owlstar opened his eyes to see a dark forest. "Great, I'm here." he muttered. "Great, your here." Darkstripe said, walking up to him. "Hey, I want my voice back." "And?" "I'm willing to do whatever you wish for it." Owlstar said. Darkstripe flinched and looked at him, "Really? Wow, uh, ok.... You really are a rouge in a clan." "I am. What's the first thing?" Owlstar asked. "Get well." "Heal my throat." "Fiine." Darkstripe pushed his throat hard, making Owlstar choke a bit. "There. Now go Owl." Darkstripe said, walking off. Owlstar nodded and woke up. "Is it- Yes, it is." Owlstar went back to his den and ate the herbs and mouse. (I couldn't think of anything and I wanted to do some action )

Blossomclaw grumbled as an apprentice came in with a thorn in his pad. "You need to watch what you're doing, Rainpaw. That's the third problem you've had this week." She meowed sharply as she tugged the thorn out. "First you get dirt in your eye. Then you scratch your leg. Now you've got thorns in your paws. What next, you tear an ear?" "Sorry Blossomclaw." Said the ashamed tom. "Just be more careful, you clumsy kit." She held up the thorn. "You're free to go." Rainpaw left without a word.

Blossomclaw left her den and went to check on Owlstar. She entered the den, pleased to see that the leader seemed to have eaten the herbs. And he was eating, which made her hopeful. "How are you feeling, Owlstar? Better, I presume?" She asked.
