Owlstar was outside, training his apprentice. He had started mentoring one since yesterday. "Now Canyonpaw, crouch like this and keep your tail low. Make sure you don't step on a twig or shove a rock, or your prey will hear you. Show me your crouch." Canyonpaw nodded and did so. "Good. Now see that leaf? jump and land on it, or it'll run." "But leaves don't run." "Pretend it's prey." "Ok."

"Good job Canyonpaw. Now try catching a mouse." Owlstar said. Canyonpaw nodded and walked off, Owlstar followed. When the apprentice found a mouse, he stalked upon it and leaped. He caught the mouse. "Nice catch, now lets continue hunting." The two went hunting after Canyonpaw hid the mouse. Attachments:

Blossomclaw sighed. "That's all I can do for now. Tell me if you are uncomfortable, or need anything." She turned around and watched the camp.

The two came back with tons of prey, they put their catches on the pile. "That's all for today Canyonpaw. Talk to your friends." Owlstar said. Canyonpaw nodded and went over to the other apprentices.

Blossomclaw sighed. She glanced at the wounded warrior, then to her neatly organized herb stores, then to her paws.

Blossomclaw heard the cat moan. She turned her head. But the warrior was asleep. "Nightmares?" She questioned. "I guess I'll find out when she wakes up."

Owlstar finished eating to see a dark pelt in his den. "I know, I know. Tonight." He said and the dark pelt disappeared.

Blossomclaw woke up a few minutes later, startled by the wind. She dozed off again when she realized everything was fine.

Blossomclaw was sitting outside her den, getting fresh air. The air in her den was warm, and heavy with sickness.

She walked back inside, and checked on her patient. The cat in the nest was gravely ill, and at risk of death. Blossomclaw was trying her best, but nothing seemed to help.
