One cat left the group and disappeared. Cloud sighed, sadly. "He lived a long, honourable life. He will be welcome here." She meowed loudly and calmly. The other cats cheered something quietly.

Red was curled up in a bush, hoping he set his leg right with a stick and some cobwebs. "I hate this.." He muttered.

Two more cats appeared in the group, one a young, strong looking tom, the other being the cat that left before. "Welcome. We've been awaiting your arrival." Cloud meowed. A few minutes later the crowd dispersed, leaving Cloud as the only one left.

Red had heard of the newcomer, but didn't go great them. He always felt that he was awkward towards newcomers. He stood up and limped out of the bush towards the forest.

He was able to catch a vole. He ate it quickly, then he started moving again.

Cloud caught the tom's scent. She walked towards it until she found Red. "What's up?" She asked, running over.
