There was a rustle in the bushes that seemed too loud to be made by accident. Then all went silent again.

Minlum flicked his tail. "Now I know you're in there." He padded up to the bush. "If it's a certain black cat with long, sharp fangs. I'm not going to be surprised."

But there was no cat in the bushes.
Snowflake flattened her ears. "She left. So annoying..." She flexed her claws and growled something under her breath.

Minlum grumbled. "I knew it." He looked at Snowflake's wound and licked it. "I'll clean it for you, if you'd like."

Snowflake nodded. "Okay..." She let the tom clean her wound. "You've met her, I'm guessing."

"Mhm." Minlum said, continuing to clean the wound. "My brother has meet her before me. He isn't afraid of her and neither am I. I know that Shadow is a killer, but she rarely does it during the day." He said. "And I'm guessing you know her?"

"Long story." Snowflake mewed. "Short, we've known each other for a long time and we've always managed to make each other mad with ease." She chuckled. "She isn't completely heartless though. I remember when a tom named Midnight strolled by once when we were fighting. He's pretty tough, and Shadow grew a soft spot for him." She laughed. "Just don't mention that around her. She'll rip you'd throat out." Then her gaze darkened. She seemed to be remembering something.

Minlum nodded and was able to find some cobwebs that were nearby. He covered the wound with the cobwebs when he was done cleaning. "There." he said.
