The night was quiet, but that quickly ended as a loud yowl cut the air, which was quickly ended quickly. It wasn't too far from Shadow's den. This one was a she-cat, a dark pelted tom stood over the body with a bloody paw and claws. The tom ran away, his tail moving side to side, going to another cat that is awake.

The yowl woke Shadow. She looked outside. "The moon is up! How could I have fallen asleep!?" She exclaimed, and left her den. It was time for her nightly hunt. But she wasn't looking for prey. She forgot about the yowl completely.

Shortly after, another yowl was heard. Which was cut off, just like the last one. This time its a tom, a dark grey one. "Will she appear? Who knows." the dark tom meowed, "I really like to see her, she's an interesting black she-cat." he walked off.
Soon it became a yowl after another yowl, the tom's paws and claws became bloodier.

Shadow tried to ignore the yowls on her way to the 'hunting grounds,' but eventually she grew extremely annoyed. "Who's killing all my cats?!" She exclaimed to herself. She turned around and headed towards the noise.

The tom was in a tree, his jaws holding a dead cat. When he saw Shadow, he dropped the body and it landed on the ground with a thump.

Shadow jumped back as a body landed in front of her. She looked up.

The tom's bright yellow eyes showed where he was. "It's nice to have finally meet you Shadow, well, my other side has already met you." he said

The tom nodded, "Yes, it's a hobby I can do at night without my other side knowing. I like to see what's on the inside, in the past ive seen badger guts and fox guts, now it's cat guts. I'm really interested to see how it spills out. I'm that kind of killer." he said, climbing down a tree. "But I'm interested in you. I have no need of killing you, but I've seen you kill, it's really amazing."

He was quiet for a moment. "I like how you make the blood flow out of your victims, how they cry when you end them." he looked at her. "Even though you stalk, then kill. I've been stalking you. I've kept my scent hidden and I've hidden in trees and bushes, you've never noticed me. I've done it every night."

Shadow was definitely more creeped (Why isn't creeped a word xD ) out than anything else now. "Well... I guess I better be on my way." She mewed with a glance at the sky. "It will be day soon. Forest hunting time." She turned around and trotted off. A few seconds later there was a pain filled cry, which wasn't cut short, as if something was left to die by itself, and from then on the forest was silent.

He went back into his den, cleaning his paws on the way. He soon curled up in his tree and fell asleep
