Summer had finished eating and was hanging upside down on a branch. "Umm... Can someone help me? I can't feel my tail."

(That's because all of Summer's blood was rushing to his head since he was upside down.)
Summer blinked, "Its alright. I don't need any medical help. I'm fine." He looked down, "If only you could fix my cold brothers personality."
Winter was alone in his den, enjoying the silence.

Iizus shrugged, and his head fell back onto his paws. A few moments later he yawned and sat up.

Summer jumped up. "Sorry! I didn't mean to mention him! Don't be angry with him!" he said. "Truthfully, he wasn't always blind and cold, he was actually happy before he got blind."

Iizus ears pricked. He walked over to join the other cats. "He wasn't always blind? What happened?" He mewed curiously. "If you don't mind telling, of course.

"I don't mind." Summer mewed and sat down. "Well, first off. Dad said that Mom loved the seasons, so she named us by the season that fit us best. Not sure how we managed to fit each season." He said. "Anyway, Winter and I used to be best friends throughout the years. After Mom and Dad died, we stuck together with our two sisters. After a few months passed, we had to go through a terrible storm and we were separated from them. When the storm calmed down, we started moving to stay alive. We made it to one of those things...Thunderpaths, from what I hear, and walked on it, Winter behind me. I got across, but we heard a noise and we looked. We saw something moving and told Winter to run over. He just stood there, in fear. Then two, very bright, lights turned on and Winter yowled in shock and went down. When the thing passed, I ran over to him and he kept yowling. The lights scared me and didn't blind me, but since Winter stared at it, and the lights were very bright, it blinded him." He unsheathed his claws and dug them into the ground. "He kept yowling this one line that kept haunting me. He kept saying: 'I can't see! All I can see is darkness! Summer! Help me!'" Summer shook his head. "I kept trying to calm him down and I helped him get away from that Thunderpath. When the storm went away, I toke off a leaf wrap I made for his eyes. I told him to open his eyes and look at me, and when he did...." He was silent for a moment. "His eyes were clouded and white. Not the warm blue eyes I once knew that calmed me every time I was sad or panicked. When I told him what I saw, he stood up, unsheathed his claws and pinned his ears at me. 'It's your fault it happened! If you didn't lead me to that road and cross it, I wouldn't be blind!' He yelled and ran away. I was able to find him, but he treated me like his enemy. Now he's really cold as a frozen and bare winter in the darkness."

"He was never cruel." Summer started crying. "I just wish he would stop. It wasn't my fault! I didn't know that thing was coming on the Thunderpath! How was I suppose to know?!" he sobbed.
Winter had heard Summer, because he was near. He was in a bush, listening. 'I hurt him...that bad?' he thought.

He shook his head. "Mabye later, sorry. I'm just a summer being rained down on by a storm." he said and laid down. "I really hurt you that much, eh brother?" Winter said, knowing the others would hear him.
