She sighed. 'Where to begin... First of all, my name is Lapsa. I was born into a long since fallen group called Lapsus Ace. My group consisted of cats who were essentially immortal. Immune to sickness and injury.' She began.

Lapsa frowned. 'The job of my group was to invade the dreams of special cats and lead them to their destinies. But, we abused our powers for amusement, and ended up leading more cats to their demise than into greatness. One of the little colonies we attacked most began to grow suspicious of their diminishing population, and took action. They learned the one way they could be rid of us, and didn't hesitate to utilize it. My family tried to flee, but both my parents were sick and slowly fading. My father's last words were, "Your name, from now on, will be Lapsa. Remember your past like it's the fur on your pelt. Never give in, even when the last of your power threatens to slip away..." I could tell he wanted to say more, but it was too late for him.
'I lived on my own for a while, but eventually, I was captured and locked in there, that wretched hole in the ground. They could drain my power in there. But I managed to lock the cave with a wall. Anyone who tries to get in dies. Since that day, they stopped coming around, knowing they couldn't break past my defences. Eventually I was forgotten. The sorcery used to kill us of is no longer achievable. Since then, as you saw, the wall faded along with my health. For the many years I was locked in there, I was lying dormant, holding onto the last flakes of life, waiting for those who would free me from the hold of my captors to come. And here you are. I cannot thank you enough.' She dipped her head.

So you and the others were hunted down and you were put into that cave. And we saved you from the verge of death." Tei looked at Laspa, "What are we to you now?" Fafnir growled, "Shush Teirun!"

You could follow me back to my home if you wish, to learn more about my group or me, or you could continue with your own lives.' Lapsa replied. 'Either way, your kindness will not be forgotten.' She touched Teirun's head. When she removed her paw, there was a mark, but it faded too quickly to see.
