Celebi gazed around. "This is your forest, long before any of you existed." They were in a clearing, surrounded by sparsely placed trees. The sounds of quarrelling could be heard in the distance. Terrica didn't believe that this was her home. Camp was missing, and there was never any fighting going on... It must have been a pretty long time ago.

"Tell me..." Celebi mumbled. "Do any of you know how your group was formed? We're going to see for ourselves soon, but I'm curious."

Terrica thought, but the answer slipped her mind. She wasn't entirely sure.
Celebi shrugged. "That's alright! Now, let's see... In a few more seconds, I think -- ah! there they are!" She did a mid-air flip out of excitement and watched as a Rattata scampered out in front of them, holding a berry in it's mouth. Then another one ran out and the two of them started battling over the berry. Celebi frowned. "I wish I could intervene... Your group has a history of battle, but the raging fire that fuels the urge for battle will soon be tamed into the soft glow of peace."

"No. The only creatures who'd be able to see us are other Celebis, or other time travellers visiting this time period," she answered.

Celebi sat back and watched as the fighting paused, with an interruption from another small Pokemon. "It was that Espurr who started the idea of leaving in peace," she commented as the Rattatas continued bickering. "At first no one listened to her, but she was a determined little Psychic type!"

Then she waved her arm. "That's all that really happened here. To see what happens next, we're going to have to go forward a bit more," she explained, and the scenery around them began changing. Trees grew around them, the sky flashed as the sun rose and set, moving through the days in hyperspeed.

Celebi slowed the flow of time again, and looked around. "Hm, where are they..." Then, she saw a familiar little Rattata scrambling out from under a bush, some twigs in it's jaws. A few feet away, the Espurr sat, gathering berries from a bush. "Seems a bit odd, huh?" Celebi asked with a smile on her face. "You see, that Rattata realized after the fight that she didn't like how other Pokemon were selfish and battle-prone. So she met up with the Espurr again, and the two of them decided to start building a sanctuary of sorts." Celebi sped forward again, and some familiar looking walls were forming, the two small Pokemon working hard. "Originally they were going to build a place where Pokemon could seek refuge in their time of need, but they realized they could do so much more than that! There were many who supported them, and soon, your group became what it is today!" She had a grin on her green face, and looked at the class.

Nightshade could only nod, amazed at the group she lived in now was formed by only two Pokemon.

Time continued speeding by. The group continued to grow and grow, and the area continued expanding, until it had formed into the camp they knew. Celebi let time continue moving at this fast pace as she turned to face the class. "And that's that! Any questions?" She gazed at Nightshade and chuckled. "Even Teacher Dragon is amazed, hmm?"

"It is an amazing thing," she responded, nodding slowly. "Now, we should return." Everything around them vanished, swiftly replaced by the familiar setting of the school.
