Venompaw left the camp with Moonstar to bury his previous mentor. He yawned as they walked.

Moonstar organized patrols for the day and went to sleep. His dreams were dark as he slept in his den.

Nightwing woke up a few hours later and stretched. He walked out of the den to get something to eat.

Morninglight had gone to make dirt. She was only gone for a bit. But in the time one of the mountain patrol cats had made a hole in the back of the nursery scooping up the kits and taking them.
Morninglight walks back and screeched. "My kits,"she wails.

Nightwing ran into the nursery. He looked around the den. "Oh no... I'm going to tell Moonstar." He said and ran out of the den towards his leaders.
Silentkit woke up, drowsily, to see the forest floor below him. He quickly realized he was being carried. "Hey! Let me go!" He growled.

She bounded away, poking her head into Moonstar's den. "Moonstar! Morninglight's kits are gone!" She mewed, prodding her mate.
