Adderpelt flicked her tail at young cat."you will do fine just remember your training."She says she gathered with the other cats.
Even the kits had been trained just in case things went badly. Fangkit poked her head out and saw venompaw, her father, mother, and friends going off to fight."good luck ahe whispers.

Moonstar called the cats together. "Today we attack sunclan. They will pay for there insolence. I will take first wave, Nightwing second. Sagepelt may have a few apprentices to help her. Lets go" Moonstar says.Adderpelt flicks her tail at venompaw to stay by her.

They marched to the territory, Moonstar took Darkflower, Adderpelt, Amberspirit, deadpelt, Jaggedfur, Redstream, and Stoneflower. The apprentices stood by there mentors stripepaw and whitepaw. Were picked to help Sagepelt. Moonstar let out a battle cry. He flung himself down into the sun clan camp.

Venompaw stuck to his mentor's side as he rushed into unknown territory.

A mass of cats withered and clashed. Moonstar was at his mates side making sure she was safe. Adderpelt was fighting a big tom known as snaggedtooth. He was vicious and cruel. She was trying to keep venompaw safe from attacks. He was still just a kit.

Amberspirit attacked ferociously, showing no mercy to those she brought down.
Venompaw stayed cautious, attacking whenever he saw an opening.

Nightwing and the others finally joined in to help. Adderpelt was trying so hard to keep venompaw safe she took a deadly blow for him. The battle ended with the sun clan retreating with a hiss of defeat. Sun star had lost 3 of her clan members. While Moonstar had some injured. He turned to see Adderpelt laying lifeless in the dust. He padded over to the she-cat and dipped his head picking up her limp body and telling the other's to go back to camp.He turned looking for his mate. He hadn't seen her in a while.

Venompaw looked shocked. "Adderpelt..." When Moonstar nudged him he turned and walked slowly back with the rest of the clan.
Amberspirit walked beside the apprentice. "She must've care for you. She protected you until her fall.

Moonstar dragged the body back. Fangkit stuck her head out and looked about for her father and mother. She relaxed upon seeing them. Her fur fluffed up at seeing Adderpelt. She screeched and ran for her body. Adderpelt had always took a liking to her venompaw and silentkit. Moonstar had gently placed the body in the clearing. He nudged her and licked her pelt."goodbye young one."He says and sits back. He let the clan say there good byes. Fangkit walked over pressing her fur into venompaw.

Venompaw sat there quietly. He hadn't been apprenticed a half moon and he already lost his mentor from battle.

Fangkit sat with him. Her father on one side of Adderpelt her and venompaw on the other. At moon rise Moonstar sighs calling the clan."we mourn the loss of Adderpelt, she will be buried at sunrise and venompaw I shall take place as your new mentor. "He says
