I am often struck with sudden busts of inspiration. Many times, this leads to me forming some interesting ideas for RPs. However, I understand the site has become quite full as far as RPs go, so I came up with the idea to make this thread. This acts as sort of an idea dump for me. I'll hop on whenever my mind is frothing with storylines and characters and such and empty my thoughts. If you see anything particularly interesting that you would like to see turned into a full scale RP, don't hesitate to tell me! I'm also looking forward to seeing criticism and feedback on my ideas, so let me know what you think!
The format will be as follows:
Title of RP (If I have one, if I don't I'll simply type something like 'Cat RP Idea', some ideas for names, or something of the like.)
Summary of story, setting, and character types; a shortened version of what the intro might look like
Character ideas
Other stuff I want to mention
I hope you enjoy this insight into my muse!

Dragon RP Idea
Possible names: Dawn of the Darkening, Land of Dragons, Scaly Heights, really depends where I want to go with the story. This RP, bearing a strong likeness to the 'Dragons' RP as far as settings and basic ideas go, is based in a world where dragons are a companion everyone has. There are a few different character 'ranks' or 'types', including breeder, warrior, healer, etc. The town it's based in is called Racathil, and is ruled over by a man named Tsen. Racathil is surrounded on three sides by the huge expanse of woodland known as Yishkan forest, and bordered on the other side by the unexplored Charred Cliffs, a canyon littered with tunnels and cave systems, and is notorious for being the sight of many disappearances. I have two characters for this. The first is a breeder named Kaysha, one of if not the best in the town who lives near the outskirts so that her dragons can be in peace. She is very knowledgeable about dragons and has had some stunning results with her work, such as her popular dragon Dyla. She has an unbrekable bond with her dragon Zash, whom she raised since he was but an egg. She's quite stubborn, and has a tendency to be awkward around people. The second is a warrior/fighter type of character named Makahn. He has one dragon, named Quarren. He is very close friends with Kaysha. In fact, he is one of her only friends and she one of his. He is somewhat mean and cold and enjoys dark humour. He aspires to be a weapon smith. Finally, other info: -All dragons -at the beginning of the RP- are four legged and mainly reptilian, with leathery wings and scales and whatnot, though it is possible for them to have patches of fur, such as in the form of a mane. -Dragons can understand human speech but can only speak in dragon tongue. -All dragons have an 'elemental essence'. This is used to group them. Some examples are Flare dragons, Frost dragons, Water dragons, etc. Dragons can have multiple essences, but always have one far stronger than the others. -All 'ranks' will begin with characters already in them. Most will be open for replacement. -Your character may have up to two ranks. For example, healer/breeder, breeder/blacksmith, etc. -You may note this is quite fleshed out for an RP. This is because it is based off a story I'm writing, if you were curious. And I believe that's all. This came out longer than I meant for it to... Whoops.  |

Mythical Creature Idea
Possible Names: None yet As if we didn't have enough of these on here... I just love fantasy creatures so much that when the idea popped into my head my thoughts just kept branching deeper and deeper, growing further into more and more tangents and paths, despite trying to banish it for the sake of the site's thread count. I'm a bit all over the place with this one, bear with me. My idea for this one is that it takes place on a secluded forest hidden away from the world where majestic, unrealistic beasts roam and live in peace. Imagine a rainforest, untouched by humans, thriving with beautiful, wild creatures, and there's your setting. Except there are Lochness Monsters leaping out of rivers and dragons are hunting rocs and phoenixes for dinner. Hehe. But the delicate balance could be at risk of tipping... Due to what? Not sure yet, honestly. I just need a plot of some sort. The consequences vary also. Maybe these beasts, some with nearly unstoppable power, break into civilization. Maybe the opposite happens and we witness the death of hundreds of gorgeous life forms. Who knows? You could play as any form of mythical creature, from the obvious dragon to the lesser known hieracosphinx. Get creative! Have fun! That's what fantasy RPs exist to allow. Creativity. I don't have any solid character ideas yet, but I have many fun possibilities swimming around in my jumbled mind. Quetzalcoatl? Sure! Wraith? Why not! I don't have any other (Interesting) info for this one. Let me know what you think! |

And 2P has been locked, so this one could take 2P's spot. I really like the idea, because there are so many crazy mythical creatures out there. |

Human-based RP idea?!
Possible names: The Arctum Whoa. It's not often I get excited about an RP that is completely human-based with no fantasy elements, but here it is. This RP is about a group of people called, you guessed it, the Arctum. The Arctum are a group of people who do dirty jobs, such as thievery and kidnapping and assassination. The catch is, they do it for fun, not for a living. They don't plan to get anything out of their work. Most of them even live on the streets with no solid home, but they like living that way, feeling the wild life gives them freedom. Anyway, back to the group. The group follows a somewhat complex ranking system that basically gauges one's skill, but the members also each have a specific job assigned to them. Some of the jobs include theft, scouting, murder, etc. Basically you choose the thing you excel at or most enjoy doing and that becomes what you do. Here are the ranks in more detail: You have the Tarsoku, the leader of the group. Under him/her are the four known as the Varinzaks. They are the best of the best, but more so, they are also the four the Tarsoku trust most. The next leader is picked from these four warriors. Next are the Ruskiyas. They are the most skilled, usually surpassing even the Varinzaks in both strength and intelligence. Everyone looks up to them. Following them are the Krizmes. They excel in one or two skills, but falter in everything else. For example, one might be incredibly smart, but couldn't hold their own in battle. Then, the Umaikas, the ones who are above average in everything but still can't compare to the Krizmes. The regular members of the group, the Ekeros, follow them. And last but not least are the Recruits, new members who have yet to prove their worth. One is usually a Recruit for a month before graduating, but those who show great promise can be promoted sooner. As for characters, I have mine already completely made. There are three of them. One is Tura, a young girl who recently attained Ruskiya status for her amazing skill as a thief. She could be considered my main character. She is very mouthy and rude, but hates no one more than she hates Kixu, a male Ekero who finds her attitude amusing. He never leaves her alone and she hates him for it. The one person she can stand, though, is Keine, a levelheaded Umaika with a gift for speed and strategics. He is Tura's only friend in the group, because he's the only one who doesn't react to her sharp tongue and edginess, and she likes him for that. He responds to one of her retorts with neither annoyance nor fear nor anger, but calmness and even kindness. She doesn't really understand him, but she doesn't care. Now, the other stuff. All positions will have people already occupying them, but all will be open for either replacement or new inclusions. It is a little fantasy in the way that your character doesn't have to appear realistic. I give you permission to have rainbow hair!  That's all the stuff I can think to include for now. Let me know what you think! I'm feeling good about this one, but I'll leave it up to you guys. ^w^ |

“There’s a story of five clans, named by the trees that are in each territories the most, that was in unknown danger. The five clans were called Oakclan, Willowclan, Birchclan, Cedarclan, and Ashclan, all five are still alive today.
Oakclan being the clan of the climbers and brave. Willowclan of the fast and peaceful. Birchclan of the swimmers and loyal. Cedarclan of the sly and tough. Ashclan of the tunnelers and mysterious lastly.
These are the clans of today.”
“What of the unknown danger, you ask? Well, it never came, because our overseers of the sky picked one warrior from each clan to save us. They had their titles, and everyone knows it. There were three toms and two she-cats.
“What happened to the five when they did their deed?
They were exiled when they returned.” A mix of clan and fiction, if you put it that way. The Five are already picked, three of them were already created and I had to create the other two so the "Five" would work. And to make it a bit bigger, it's a multi-clan rp, meaning you can make characters from each clan. I don't know much of the summary for this, but this is as much as I can put for now. |

But it involves a dark substance, and the drawing I made.

White Flame
The White flame
Most people believe it is a myth, others say it is truth. Now what is the real story behind it?
There are two types of White Flame: One that is ice, and the other with magical healing abilities.
Now why am I bringing this up now at a time like this? Let me explain.
The world is in havoc, there is no more medicine, no more plants alive to create remedies to heal the sick and injured. The world is getting warmer and warmer as well. All because of the childish war that is happening to the world. Most people give in and die, others end themselves so they wouldn’t wait for the pain, and most just keep going and stay cautious.
Until they learned about the White Flame.
The flame is created by rare dragons, ones who possess the breath of ice or magic, the rarest of all possess both.
Warrior Cats
Labyrinth
Blamed for something you never committed, now ran out of your home that you were raised in as a kit. Stopping quickly before going over a cliff, wondering if you should jump or not. The rocks below you give away and now you’re stuck on the side of the cliff. Right when your grip gives out, someone saves you…
You eventually tell him your story and he then lastly says: “Are you going to let them get away with it? Or are you going to your mind that’s now a Labyrinth?”

Survival of the fittest, what does that mean to people? It can mean multiple things, but to us, it's different. To us, it means you need a sharp mind, agile body, and a strong spirit. We aren't really human though, so what are we?
We, are velociraptors.
Ancient hunters that lived millions of years ago. We didn't live back then, we live now. All because of a place they called "Jurassic World." The thing is, most of us don't even know who created us. We were eggs that were considered "back-ups," "leftovers" or "tests." We were hidden as a result, best thing they ever did to us. How many were there? Over two dozen I think.
From what I understand, the DNA that was used to fill the holes of our velociraptor DNA was used to much, so we have some special skills from it. For example, if you have a tongue that can shoot out, you have some kind of toad, or frog DNA. If you have incredible jaw strength or large teeth, you have crocodile or alligator DNA. What about me? Well you’ll find out, no doubt about it.
Limelight
You’re lost in an unknown place, a place you don’t even know.
You’ve traveled around your world for a very long time, so you should recognize this place, but… No, this is a land you don’t know at all. So, where are you in this bizarre world?
The world in is different once you get inside, but there’s strange creatures you don’t even recognize. You were about to be attack by one of them when suddenly someone comes to your aid and kills it. He wears a mask, and considering the chances, you allow yourself to be carried by him to his home. You decide that you needed answers, now or never.
Demons of the Unknown
(Meant to be roleplayed like a story)
Are there others out there? Demons, I mean. There’s supposed to be ones that can scare us with just their looks or atmosphere, then there are the ones that can steal our soul…but how come there are none of those creatures?
The ones we see are in stories, shows, and many more things, but they don’t have that quality anymore. What happened to them? Did they die or did they fade? What happens in the unknown of that underworld cave they live in?
Do they live among us and live like us?
Do they act like us to hide their true identity?
Are some underestimated because of their true appearance?
Are there different types of them?
And lastly...
Where are they now?
Limelight and Labyrinth are from songs I've heard (Labyrinth is from a German Metal Band called Oomph!) Jurassic World gave me inspiration for the raptor one (There is no spoilers in it, I was carful with that!) The dragon one was from a story I've read, but only the 'healing flame' was I got from that. The demon one was from a drawing I did of my non-demon looking character. Of course, all five of them have more of a story to them. |

Raptors are a new creature that we haven't played before, so anything can happen with that.
Limelight is more fantasy than realistic, since you're pretty much on a new world.
Which one would you go with first though, Shadow?
