(Gonna make a second character soon I think.) Rose-singer decided to see what the warriors who were working were up to. They slacked off occasionally, and he had no issue shedding some blood to put them back into their place. He flew to the tree the army was centred in and patrolled that area, looking for anyone stepping out of line.

(Same here, tbh, I just have to think of one.)
She settled on one of her thoughts and thought about it over and over, seeing if she could get it solved.

Kiyasa puffed out a breath, her fluffed up chest feathers falling flat. She shook out her ruffled wings and ducked into a hole in a tree, where she lived. She wasn't in the best of moods. She had called some of the birds that had grown loyal to Rose-singer cowards and was about to get in a fight with them before being forced to flee by a patrolling officer. She hated what had happened to her once beautiful home, and the once strong birds that had occupied it, but for the time being, she could do nothing about her anger. He was too powerful.
Rose-singer seemed amused by something. Nothing was going on that could have made him that way, though. He snickered and flapped away, returning to his nest.

Aarne flew as fast as he could into his nest, breathing harshly from how fast he flew. Despite not being a Sage, he still kept gathering supplies like he used to. Of course, he kept it to himself and hid the healing plants in his little home. One day, he would hopefully go back to being a Sage...but the thought of it happening was little.
Arethusa nodded once she solved the thought, then decided to have another flight around. As she flew out of her nest, she wondered how the members were and decided to fly over there.

Kiyasa saw a smaller bird speeding through the air. She watched him, surprised. She knew him. He was once a Sage, but from what she heard was booted from his position for a reason she didn't know. She recalled a time she had to visit the medical centre back when she was a warrior and he had tended to her wounds. She wondered what the hummingbird was up to nowadays, curious eyes following him until he was out of sight.

Once he calmed down, he looked outside and flew outside again. Only to almost fly into Arethusa. "Sorry!" He called before zipping away.
The falcon blinked and looked around, startled and confused about the small bird that almost flew into her. 'What..?' she thought before continuing her flight.

Kiyasa huffed and took wing, diving out of her tree and doing a flip, fanning out her lime green feathers briefly before regaining control and tilting upwards, flapping powerful wings to bring herself higher into the sky, not going anywhere in particular.

Aarne sighed, "Another slip up, get yourself together Aarne!" He told himself.

She snatched a mouse off of the ground and killed it, carrying it back to her nest and eagerly eating.

He landed on a rock by a stream, looking down to see his reflection. Aarne sighed and relaxed, wishing everything was the same before everything decided to go bad. "Like I should be thinking this stuff, it's never going to happen." He murmured, then started humming a little tune.

When Kiyasa was finished eating, she jumped once again out of her nest and took flight. She widely avoided Rose-singer's nest, not wanting to attract attention to herself. You could never know when the tyrannical hawk would strike, and she didn't exactly want to have her wings ripped off.

When he was done relaxing, he flew back his nest. Since he had nothing to do at the moment, when he arrived at his nest he cleaned his feathers.
Arethusa returned to her nest with a sigh. "Not much has changed, just the mood," she muttered. She sat outside of her nest.

The jay sighed and decided to swoop past the training area, even though she wasn't allowed there any more. She surveyed from above, watching as young birds were taught the basics of combat and more experienced warriors trained with dummies or sparred with each other. She would've liked to be part of them, but of course, she had been kicked out. She did a flip and was now flying in the opposite direction, before swerving left, flying towards the tree she had been born in. She liked to go there to reminisce about before the BTR massacre, even though it upset her.
Rose-singer was patrolling, another bird flying next to him. They spun in the air, movements nearly synchronized, watching the birds fly around below them. They talked quietly as they flew.

She looked around again before deciding to hunt. "I'm always thinking so much that I'm always forgetting to eat," Arethusa flew low, hoping she would find a mouse or shrew.

As Kiyasa was returning to her nest, she saw one of the warriors. She looked to be hunting. The green jay couldn't help but scowl as she passed. The loyal freaks deserved no respect, in her opinion. A lot of them were just looking after their own tail feathers.

She spotted a shrew and dived down, catching and killing it in one fell swoop.

She paused to watched her make the kill, then she sighed and continued flying. She wondered what she would do. There wasn't really much for someone like her to do.

Arethusa flew to a branch to eat her kill.

Rose-singer and the other bird turned, making sure they covered everything they could.
