In the bleach white room Alice looked around, only to find out the door was wide open as a patient walked by. She looked at Agatha then sprinted out into the hallway and down different ones. The sound of her shoes clacking the floor."ALICEEEE!!" Agatha screeched in vain, her name echoing down the halls. She sat hidden in a dark hallway, huffing for air, she couldnt believe what she had just done. She can taste the freedom. Yet, theres no freedom there. She looked around and saw another patient.

Sitting in a shadowy passage, Rako was mumbling to himself thoughtfully as he gazed around, red eyes glinting as they caught the light emanating from a bulb at the other end of the hall. He was twirling the brilliant green streak of hair that fell over his face, annoyed at how much he stood out because of it. He would blend in with the obscurity of the area if his hair was all the same colour, but he couldn't help it. He had fled his room a few days ago and has since evaded capture, keeping to the sidelines and staying out of commonly used walkways. It worked out. He stopped mumbling when he heard panting and turned his head, blinking in surprise when he saw a girl. He decided that, at least for now, it wasn't in his best interest to investigate her, so he looked away again, keeping his guard up as he gazed absently at the wall in front of him.

The hall was quiet, well, the one Axel was in. He could still hear yelling and other noises from the other halls. His spot was in a corner under a camera, that he broke on purpose. The feeling of being watched made always gave him shivers. Axel's eyes watched as patients, nurses, and even visitors passed him, not giving him a single glance. His gaze went back to looking at the coat he made, which kept him warm.

Alice shivered, she wasnt wearing too warm of clothing. She saw the boy, and wanted to introduce herself, but she needed to stop panting first.

Rako patiently sat against the wall, knees up against his chest and head bowed so his gaze was focused on the cool floor below him. He couldn't hear anything save for the ragged breathing of the girl down the hall, and he didn't consider her a high priority threat, or really a threat at all at the moment, but still he kept alert just in case. Seeing as mostly all was quiet apart from that, he was happy with this secluded spot. He could think better when he was in dark, quiet places.

After a few moments, he stood up and started walking, wondering what else was here besides patients.

Alice soon calmed down her breathing, after a few minutes she slowly and very quietly crept up to the boy. "Psst, hey." She whispered.
(Also forgot to mention~ alice has a crush on rako. Cx)

He turned his head as she approached, hair swaying with the movement. He slightly adjusted how he was sitting and focused his gaze on her. "Hi," he answered softly, voice quiet and cautious. He didn't turn his full attention on interacting, he was still alert for other sounds as he spoke.

He wandered the halls for a few more minutes before sitting down in another corner and looking around before deciding to think of something to do.

"Hm..." He gazed at the ground. "More than five years, but I don't know exactly how long." He gave a shrug of his shoulders, looking back up at her. Briefly, he studied her through his red and blue eyes, then asked, "What about you? Have you been here long?" He looked curious, but cautious.

She laughed quietly, "longer than I remember, i believe close to ten years. Off and on, Id act normal and get out, only to be put back in." She said her dark grey eyes looking towards the end of the hallway.

He couldn't help but snicker, amused at the reply. "Honestly, this is my first time out. I escaped a few days ago, and I haven't been caught yet, so it's going well." He shrugged. "Say, what's your name? I'm Rako."

She smiled, "Alice." She moved the purple and blue bangs out of her eyes. "Its not that guarded. Just troubling from the cameras, and alarms.."

"Nice to meet you." He smiled back, eyes twinkling. "And, luckily, no, it isn't that hard to get around. I've learned to deal with cameras, at least, and even if they do see you it's easy enough to get away."

He muttered a few things and spotted another camera that was aimed at him. "Lousy cameras," he grumbled and took a cane that he found in one of the rooms. With it, he smacked the camera and watched it fall and break. He set the cane down and went on his way.

Rako also heard the sound and quickly shifted from a sitting position to a crouch, ready to move if he had to. He watched the direction the noise came from warily. "What do you think that was?" He whispered.
