"I wasn't taught any manners! I was just dropped one day and learned what I know by myself!" He threw his hands in the air. "Like, what do you learn when you've been alone most of your entire freaking existence? I'm old as heck too, and most of that was solitude too!"

Mint snorted. "Yeah, I was alone most of my life too, and I still know my manners," he remarked bitterly. "Why are you here, anyway? I don't even know you."

"You'll have to, 'cause I'm coming along too! I'll be here and there, so you'll have to get used to me popping in and out of the area!" Viney crossed his arms. "That'll also mean that May will, probably, spend less of her attention on you. Besides, you have eyes on the dragon."

Mint was about to retort, then he hesitated. "Eyes on the dragon...?" Then he grunted and grabbed the nearest object (which happened to be a comb) and threw it at Viney. "What do you mean by that?! I don't have 'eyes' on anyone!" He spun around so that he didn't have to look at Viney any longer.

He let it hit him, a smile on his face. "Hesitance! You do have eyes on him!" Viney snickered. He could spread this gossip easily, but he wanted to see how it played along.

Mint glanced over his shoulder. "Ugh, I do not. Meeting a dragon is a big honour, and I don't plan to take it for granted by letting petty emotions get in the way, dumb demon. Besides, Kelpies aren't supposed to fall in love, we're supposed to make other creatures fall in love with us so we can capture them, it's what we do. Not to mention...blablabla..." He continued to ramble on, listing off reason after reason why this deduction of Viney's was simply and utterly unreasonable.

"Things are changing Kelpie, and you know it. I'll ask you the same question at a later date. For now, I bid you adieu." Viney went back home after giving a short bow, deciding to see how everyone was at home and receiving a scolding while he was at it.

Mint didn't stop talking until Viney vanished. Then he simply sighed and flopped onto his bed. "I'm ready to sleep," he grumbled to himself, hiding his face under the blanket. His cheeks were pinker than the lilies in his hair, and he didn't want them to be exposed to the world any longer.

L woke up early, packing up everything and eventually taking a shower. There was a lot on his mind, and he promised a friend he'd meet him at noon. He was skeptical though, knowing he'd be bringing a human to a high ranked dragon. The kelpie would be fine, but a human was iffy. "Let's hope his age is taking affect. Probably not.."

May was up and dressed and ready for the day...eventually. She slept in a little later than intended and was quite groggy while making preparations, but she managed to get herself together before long. She wondered what L's plans were for the day.
Mint, on the other hand, was an early riser, and took his sweet time preparing. He spent the first few hours of the morning sitting in the bath, enjoying the cool, refreshing water and giving the plants in his hair the nourishment they needed. Then he got dressed and brushed out his hair until the blue-green mess was neat and soft. He had no items to gather, so he allowed himself to relax from that point on.

Once he was ready, he exited the room and knocked on the doors where the others where. "If you're hungry, give me your room key before you head to the cafeteria. I'll meet you in the lobby."

May threw open her door and declared, "I'm starvin'!" She tossed her key to L and wandered off down the hall. "Oh, and good morning! See ya in a bit!" Mint had a much quieter exit. He left the room, gently shut the door behind him, and gravitated to L's side. "Um, I'll just stay with you, if that's alright."

L caught the key May threw him, glaring at her before turning to Mint with a calmer expression. "It is. I will warn you, we're going to meet a friend of mine today." He walked towards the lobby, going to the receptionist and giving her the keys.

May made her way to the cafeteria and wandered inside, eager to get breakfast.
"Oh, are we? Is he another dragon?" Mint asked, pink eyes wide with curiosity. "I hope he's not a scary dragon, if he is. You're kind, but I can't imagine all of your kind is like that."

A centaur worked behind the counter, uncomfortable with the shirt he was wearing. He was fixing up orders and serving them out to the customers.
"He is, but his rank is high in the army. He's intimidating too, and he doesn't have a soft personality. We'll be fine as long as May doesn't mess up," L stood by the door.

May wandered up to the counter and waited to have her order taken.
Mint nodded slowly, a look of uncertainty lingering in his expression. "Ah, a big, intimidating, army dragon?" He sighed. Then he snorted and commented, "May will mess up. You should keep her stuffed in a bag or something."

The centaur turned to May, taking her order before going to the back.
He couldn't help but chuckled. "A bag? Think I need something bigger and stronger to hold her weight."

May waited patiently for her food, ignoring the rumbling of her stomach.
Mint waved his hands to indicate a large rectangle in the air. "Just find a thick one about this big. I mean, she might not be able to breathe, but that's not a problem, is it?" Then he looked around and covered his mouth with his hand. "Oh, whoops, I spoke out. I apologize." But the amused look on his face showed he didn't really care what he was saying.

The centaur came back, serving her the food she ordered before giving others their orders.
"Don't apologize. I think I'll have to make something to hold her. Maybe a coffin would hold her better? Just strap it on my side and continue on that way." Silly images appeared in his head, and he couldn't stop the grin that appeared on his face.

Mint chuckled at the silly suggestion. "Yes, a coffin would be ideal," he agreed, turning his head so his amused expression was in full view. "A coffin made of impenetrable stone, and locked with magic. Portable and well-protected. She'd get to sleep the whole time, so I doubt she'd complain. She seems lazy. Just don't rock her around too much or we won't hear the end of it!"
After eating, May wandered into the lobby to see Mint and L discussing something. They were both smiling, so she assumed it must have been important. "Oi, what're you two talking about over here? Better let me in on it," she ordered, planting her feet on the ground between them. "Better not have been making fun of me behind my back, boys, or I'll have to give you both a piece of my mind."
