Time passed and the sun was now up. Mothers were keeping their kits in their nest, so they wouldn't see what was happening. Moon, Eagle, Stream, Moss, and other cats surrounded the dead cat. "Who could've done this?" The Master growled.

Star, who was standing with the crowd around the lifeless feline, peered at the cat, then felt his stomach churn and looked away, clenching his jaws shut.

Moon pondered at what to do, then decided. "For now on. There will be two guards by each other at night. Anyone who objects gets to be one of the two guards tonight's." She announced, then she heard some groans and looked at the group she heard groans from. "Have something to say? Say it to me." She snapped, then she heard silence.

Moon growled, "one things for sure, one of us is a traitor. This one fought before dying, there's fur between his claws. Who ever did it, be lucky that your scent it hidden. But by the looks of the fur color, it dims it down to three cats. Star, Shine, and Light, you three are suspects."

Upon hearing his name, Star let out a kit-like mew in surprise and backed away, feeling more strain placed on his already weak stomach.

"Now, I suggest that everyone keeps an eye on the three suspects. We'll also be having a temporary Cheif. Frost, please be the temporary chief. Now everyone, let's grief and go back to the usual duties." She sat down by the body, her head hanging low.

He closed his eyes and respectfully bowed his head for the dead cat, scared that if he looked he'd be sick. He couldn't imagine someone sinking their filthy claws into their kin. The thought made him get up and stumble to his nest and collapse there, waiting for his stomach to settle.

Moss watched as Star let, and decided to follow him. She saw him collapse in his nest. "You didn't do it...I know it." She said.

Star remained where he was, Moss's words not reaching his ears. His eyes were dim, and he was curled up tightly in his soft nest.
