Shadow watched, green eyes glowing in the shadows of her den.

The last pet tackled Crux and pinned him down. The pet had a clawed paw on his throat, he bared his teeth at Crux. Crux was gasping for air, "Y-y-you stupid p-p-pet!" Crux spat.

Shadow had to stop herself from laughing. She dashed out, knocked in to the pet, dashed forward, and when she came back, ripped its throat out. Then she glided back into the darkness of her den.

Crux picked up the rabbit with his jaws, and climbed a tree. He layed down on a branch and started eating

"Don't seem too thankful," Shadow commented. She eyed Crux's tail and batted it with her paw.

"I am, its just I don't like saying 'thanks,' its not in my vocabulary." Crux meowed, he felt Shadow playing with his tail. Crux just let her play, its not everyday you see a cat that likes to kill play like a kit
