Crux wasn't far off to hear them, he hid in a bush and watched for the best moment to strike. 'Those pets are loud' he thought

Shadow was in her den, watching the pets explore the forest, louder than one of the human 'cars'. She had threatened them, but they thought they could beat Shadow if they wanted too. As if. Shadow glided from her den and quickly silenced one of the pets, without a sound. She was positive no one had seen her, for even the mice that hadn't fled were in the same spot.

Crux saw the pets, he dashed and killed one. The others tackled him and they were rolling in the dirt. Blood and fur were flying

Crux stabbed one in the throat with a clawed paw, that pet backed up and fell down, dead. Then he sliced the next one's stomach opened. "You want to die too?!" he growled at the last one.
