Ice moved the boulder away from his cave entrance and walked outside.

Wave sighed and hesitantly poked her nose outside of the cave that was her den. She looked around, then yelped as a snake jumped out at her, missing her by a hair. She had tried to leave her den for the past fifteen minutes to no avail.

Ice walked around, surprisingly calm. He did, however, freeze anything that leaped or ran towards him.

She tried to sprint out and was blocked by a deer that used it's antlers to throw her back. She growled in aggravation.

Ice walked towards Wave's den to see a deer blocking her way. He threw an icicle at it.

Wave saw an icicle hit the deer and sighed in relief. She sprinted out of her cave, yowling in surprise when a bird dove at her and exploded as it touched the ground. She avoided the explosion and was unharmed, luckily, but was covered in green goo and bird guts. "Ugh, gross! I'm going to be sick!" She groaned, gagging.

"Then use water," Ice said simply, throwing icicles at the infected animals.

"Oh! Right!" She summoned a giant surge of water, toppling the nearby creatures and thoroughly soaking her blue fur. "Much better!"

"I know there's a problem with everything being infected, but don't forget what your power is, Wave." He said blandly, walking away after all the animals were skewered.

She shrugged, and started walking towards the denser woods to see what was out there.

He mumbled a few words as he walked across the frozen lake.

She quickly regretted her decision when a bear, fur tainted green, started chasing her. She solved this by summoning water and heating it up to a boil, then tossing the water in the bear's face. While it was blinded she killed it with an icicle. Then she fled, making a mental note to herself that big animals lived in the woods.

(When are we going to introduce our infected characters?)
Out of boredom, he started creating ice pillars on the frozen lake.

(I forgot about that. Haven't made mine just yet, you can introduce yours now. What I was thinking is that most of the infected animals wouldn't be very smart, but our charas would be two of the few that actually show some intelligence?)
Wave returned to her den, blocking the entrance with a thick wall of ice. There she ate, curling her tails around her.

(Yeah, that would work. And dead creatures do work, since mine happens to be dead ) A creature, that glowed faintly green and was showing his entrails, walked around like he was lost. He was, in fact, but a wall of ice caught his interest as he slowly walked up to it. "E-Excuse me.." He called, tapping on the ice a bit. "Is there anyone there?"

Wave heard the voice and approached the wall she had created. She couldn't see clearly through the thick ice, and only saw a silhouette of the creature on the other side. "Yes, what is it?" She asked cautiously, ready to fight if she had to.
