"Dimpaw, you nearly exposed us." The apprentice jumped and spun around, taking a step back when he saw that the Warriors claws were unsheathed. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't know you were with Rocksinger!" He replied, shaking when Hawktalon stopped right in front of him. "Do you really want me to eliminate you? I almost had to kill Rocksinger as well, you don't want that death on your paws." The apprentice shook his wildly, but relaxed a little when the warrior sheathed his claws. Dimpaw watched him take a drink from the lake before sitting down. "Now listen up, Dimpaw, this is phase two. Luckily, a friend in Riverclan will help us."

Rocksinger sighed. "I... Have some concerns about the loyalty of my clanmates," she began sombrely, speaking in a low, serious tone. "I was hoping I could discuss them with you." Shadestar frowned. "By all means, go ahead," he mewed, flicking his tail. "I get the feeling that the tension that's arisen has been stirred up by one of our own. Specifically, I think Hawktalon has allies in other clans, and he's working towards some kind of unforeseen goal. It's making me nervous."

He explained his ideas to Dimpaw, but started to become annoyed when the apprentice kept looking elsewhere. "Dimpaw, keep doing that, and the deputy will be dead by dawn," he snapped, making the apprentice jump. "N-no, not that quick! Some felines already judge you as of now, wait." The warrior thought, then nodded. "True, and creating plans to prove that I am staying loyal, should remove that suspicion. Good idea, fur ball." Dimpaw frowned at what he heard, but continued to listen.

Shadestar listened quietly, nodding thoughtfully along as Rocksinger laid out her ideas for her leader to hear. He mused over each word, hoping what he was hearing wasn't true. He hated the thought that someone would do something so underhanded. His clan did have a history of treachery and blood, but it was something he had hoped they'd outlived. When Rocksinger finished, Shadestar stood up. "I'll take what you've told me into great consideration. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me, Rocksinger." And he dismissed her with a nod before stepping out of his den.

Hawktalon dismissed Dimpaw when he finished planning his path. Dimpaw decided to hunt before walking back to camp, catching a few mice and a raven before putting them on the pile in the camp.

Rocksinger, who felt a little agitated, sat outside the warrior's den quietly.

Dimpaw sat down in the shade, thinking about a few things. He said hello to Eclipseshine when she passed him.

Shadestar saw Eclipseshine and changed course, padding towards her. As the clan's medicine cat, he valued her opinion quite a bit. "Eclipseshine," he greeted her in a low voice, coming to stop at her side. "Mind if I chat with you a few moments?" His green eyes flitted around, tail twitching. She was probably the best cat to consult.

She stood and looked at her leader smiling as she nodded, "Of course Shadestar."

"Good. Is your den occupied at the moment? If so, let's head out of camp." He wanted to make sure no one would be around to listen in, just in case.

"My den is empty, so I guess we'll talk there." She turned and walked back to her den, making sure no one was waiting for her inside. When she spotted no one, Eclipseshine turned to Shadestar.
