Shadestar sunk his fangs into a lizard's neck. He hid the now dead lizard and continued hunting.

Dimfang and Eclipsepaw went back to camp, into their den, and sorted the herbs, then put them away.

Dimfang nodded, "I still remember when we were apprentices, when I could still run and wall like a regular cat." He smiled, "I was always jealous on how you would always be ahead of me by one piece of prey or by one step."

Shadestar looked around. He watched as an apprentice and her mentor walked in with prey, the mentor praising, the apprentice grinning.
