(Alright)
Stormeye was still up, trying not to fall asleep. His cheek felt better, but he lost a friend. And he didn't know how and why.

Hawkheart woke up. She wasn't sure what woke her. It was still late but decided she might as well take a quick walk around while she was up.

Stormeye sneezed, which surprised him and he woke up, but only for a little bit. His pelt was ruffled and now the mark Lightfoot gave him was a scar, a scar that he knew he shouldn't have deserved. He shivered and his fur fluffed out. "So cold..." he whispered and looked at the landscape sleepily.

Hawkheart walked out to see how Stormeye was doing, surprised to find him awake. "Um, hi Stormeye... You look tired." She mewed.

Stormeye jumped and looked at Hawkheart. He relaxed and gave a soft smile. "Oh, it's you Hawkheart. And being tired won't get in my way. I told everyone I would guard the whole night, so no one's going to wake up and switch spots with me." He looked outside and looked at the moon. "So beautiful.." he muttered.

Hawkheart chuckled. "If you say so." Then her amber gaze turned to the giant white orb in the dark night sky. "Yeah, it is." She whispered, admiring its glow.

Stormeye's smile disappeared. "I wonder if you guys should go on without me. I won't be able to move in the morning.."

Hawkheart snapped her head around. "What!? Why would we do that?" She asked, quiet but surprised. "You should just get some sleep. I can watch for the rest of the night." She turned her head.

Stormeye shook his head. "No. I said I would watch the whole night. I'll be alright."

Hawkheart looked at him again, then turned her head to the sky. "Fine. But I'm staying with you."

Stormeye looked at her, but didn't object. "Are you sure?" he asked.

She nodded. "I'm sure. Can't be any worse than the vigil, can it?" She looked around, surveying the landscape.

"A vigil is the whole ni..night..." Stormeye yawned, his eyelids getting droopy.

Hawkheart was silent. Her whiskers quivered as she watched the sky.

Stormeye swayed a bit, then collapsed. He was asleep before he even touched the ground. He was dead tired.

Hawkheart nodded slightly. 'Knew he couldn't stay awake.' She surveyed the area every few seconds.

(Time skip to morning?)
Stormeye curled up and relaxed. He had no dreams, nothing went through his head.

(Okay. I'll start) Hawkheart stood up and stretched as the sun peeked over the horizon.

Stormeye was still asleep. Stoneheart and Blacknight were eating, same for Lightfoot and Shadowwind.

Hawkheart let Stormeye sleep. She stood up and walked inside.
