(Time skip to rogue battle. And I do have a plan for Rabbitstar in the battle)
Rabbitstar was hunting near the border where the rogues where, he hadn't made a single kill yet. "This place is dead because of those rogues. Typical." he spat, and started walking to another hunting spot

Hawkpaw was chasing a rabbit around when she was attacked by a cat she had never seen before. "What do you want? I'm inside the border." She hissed naturally and clawed at it's face.

The cat that attacked Hawkpaw sniffed, "Your from that clan, aren't you?" she asked. She glanced around and saw that her friends were hiding and sneaking so they could trap the apprentice

"What does it matter? I'm inside the territory and I haven't bothered you. Let me go!" She snarled and spat. She was too focused on getting free to realize who these cats were.

Rocky and Bracken came out from the bushes, so did the other cats. "You are. Your scent is similar to the other one." Bracken hissed. Rocky flicked his tail, "Your trapped, and it's time for you to die." Rocky dashed towards Hawkpaw, so did Bracken, the she-cat, and two other rogues. The others joined in a minute later.

Rabbitstar heard yowls, "Rogues again? Sounds like someone from my clan is caught in a fight." he started running towards the fight, "Please hold out until I arrive." he whispered

Hawkpaw struggled to hide her fear as she braced herself for the rogue's claws while lashing out with her own. She knew this was the end for her, but fought back anyway. Might as well hurt them while she can.

Rocky dashed towards Hawkpaw for the killing blow, but he slashed his claws across something that was grey and white. He felt fangs on his throat, and a sharp pain that quickly ended. Rabbitstar dropped Rocky, who was dead. Rabbitstar had a long, deep cut on his side, from Rocky. The rogues stopped and looked at their leaders dead body. "Off of my territory. Or your next." Rabbitstar spat. The rogues ran away, not looking back.
Rabbitstar turned around and looked at Hawkpaw, "Are you ok?" he asked. His side was bleeding, and he had a bit of trouble breathing. He didn't worry about himself, he was worried out Hawkpaw

Hawkpaw watched in fear. When the rogues left, she shook it off and looked at Rabbitstar. "I dunno, I think so." She mewed. "Are you?" She asked, looking at his wound.

"I'm fi-aaah." Rabbitstar's voice trailed away as he collapsed. He continued to bleed from the wound Rocky made. "I-I guess n-not." he choked. "I'm just glad your alright, Hawkpaw. I didn't want you to die today, that would be to... young." his jaws grew redder as he spit up some of his blood. Rabbitstar glanced at Rocky's claws, they were reinforced by fox claws, that rogue had made a deadly blow with the fox claws. The wound was deeper than he thought

Hawkpaw gasped in fear. "Rabbitstar!" She exclaimed, crouching next to him. She knew she should do something, but wasn't sure what would be faster. She could try and carry the older cat back, or she could go call for help.

Rabbitstar closed his eyes and stopped breathing. He opened his eyes again to see Starclan. "Losing a life. Ok" he muttered

Hawkpaw didn't know that leaders had nine lives yet, for some reason no one had bothered to tell her. She froze in fear, then backed up a few steps. She wasn't sure how to react to the bloody sight before her.

Rabbitstar moved, he growled because he was sore, which caused some pain. He opened his eyes drowsily to see Hawkpaw again, who had a fearful look on her face. "What?" he asked, his voice was a bit raspy. He rolled onto his belly and stood up slowly, his legs were shaking, but he didn't fall.

A look of awe appeared on Hawkpaw's face. "You died... Are you a ghost?!" She exclaimed.
