Hawkheart jumped in surprise and bolted away as the stalactite was loosened and dropped to the ground.

A roar rang through the cave and it died down quickly. "Did we kill it?" Stormeye asked limping towards everyone with Stoneheart beside him. "It's not moving, so it's dead." Blacknight said.

Hawkheart followed, glancing uncertainly at the big cat. "I hope it's dead..." She mumbled, tail twitching.

Stormeye glanced at Lightfoot's body before looking at Stoneheart. "She deserved what was coming, it's not your fault." He said and Stormeye nodded.
Teller arrived at the cave with a few cats behind her. "We couldn't come up the usual way, what-" she stopped talking when she looked at the big cat. "What...did we miss?"

Hawkheart glanced over at Teller. Her whiskers twitched. "We killed it," she answered, tail fur still bristling.

Her gaze then drifted to the lifeless she-cat's body. With a nod, she stood up and looked at Hawkheart. "Looks like the hawk did indeed fly faster than the light," She said before leading everyone back to the cave. The Windclan cats looked confused before following.

Hawkheart blinked in surprise, then, with a twitch of her tail, followed. Had she accomplished something through Lightfoot's death? The thought bothered her a bit, but she pushed it aside for the time being.

Stoneheart helped Stormeye down the mountain and back to the cave.

When they entered the cave, Teller called everyone together. Stormeye muttered something as he sat down.

"The big cat that lived above us is dead, thanks to the Windclan cats, but of course, there had to be a cost. We have nothing to fear anymore." She called, hearing cheers from her tribe-mates. "Tonight, there shall be a feast and honor the Windclan cats for killing the big cat above us."

Hawkheart decided to join in with the happy cheers of the tribe cats, lightened by their cheerfulness.

Stormeye muttered something as he limped to the healer den, after Stoneheart told him so.

Hawkheart sighed quietly. She watched Stormeye walk to the healer's den, then looked away again. She decided to just stay where she was, unsure of what else to do.

Hawkheart laid down, tail flicking. She wondered what would happen now. Would they return home? She was a bit nervous about seeing Rabbitstar again, after everything that had happened.

They talked quietly before seeing Blacknight and Shadowwind walk up to them and changing their conversation completely.
