Jay found a squirrel and stalked up to it. She leaped and killed the squirrel with a quick bite to the neck. Then she found and quickly caught a mouse and a frantic blue jay.

Obscure silenced a squirrel and brought down a mouse and a shrew.

Obscure walked back with his prey, and waved his tail at Jay.

Obscure shook his head and put on an unsatisfied expression, trying to show he had been attempting to ask something else.

Obscure shrugged, then signalled for her to keep moving. He didn't know what gestures to make to define his question, and it wasn't important anyway.

Jay blinked, then picked up the prey she caught and stood up. She continued walking back to her den.

Obscure followed, his sensitive ears flicking to every sound.

Jay entered her den and put the prey on a pile of moss. She usually put the prey she caught there. "Get comfortable, my den is your den Obscure."

Obscure nodded with a smile. He dropped the prey where Jay had put hers and sat down.

Jay shrieked and jumped back. "Spider! I hate spiders!" She said as a spider jumped onto the ground.

Obscure tilted his head and walked over. He took a leaf and guided the spider onto it, then carried the leaf outside.
