His shoulders were tense but he listened. He used Fire Fang and then aimed for where he thought she would dodge with Fire Blast.

Nyvern dodged the Fire Fang, then growled as she hit the Fire Blast.

Just from hitting his 'foe' once, Spark felt a rush of new confidence. He went for a second Fire Blast, but before he completed the move he moved to where he suspected her to dodge and used Iron Tail.

Spark blinked, head tilted. Why had she ended the match? He was just getting started!

Nyvern looked at Spark, seeing his confused expression. "If you want to continue with the battle, fight Wave. You'll need to learn about type matchups." Wave blinked and looked at Ocean, who pointed back at Wave.

Spark also blinked and gazed at Wave questioningly. He wouldn't fight her if she didn't want to fight. He knew she'd be a problem for him, as she was water type and he was fire, but he was also higher level.

Spark also gazed over at Sky, then at Fiare, wondering if they had the time to continue battling. Fiare understood and looked at Sky. "When do you want to be moving again?" She asked him.

Fiare gazed back at Spark and shrugged, who in turn gazed hopefully at Wave.

Nyvern sat down on a stone, curious about how this battle would go.

Spark smiled too. 'Bring it on, Raindrop!' Before he attacked, though, he stopped to think. This was a Water type, his fire attacks wouldn't do all that much, even if he was a bit stronger physically. What other moves did he know?
He flicked his tail a few times, then his ears perked, and he went for a Wild Charge.

Wave dodged easily, and decided to fire a Hydro Pump at Spark.

Spark hardly dodged the move. He felt the water brush his warm pelt, creating steam. In response, he used Crunch.

Spark frowned as his attack bounced harmlessly off of her. He decided to step back and go on the defensive, waiting for her to make a move.

She dashed towards Spark, using Metal Wing. Wave knew it wouldn't be much, but she just wanted to make his stagger.

Spark was hit and stumbled backwards a few steps, then tried to counter with another Crunch.

Wave growled when his move hit, and started hitting him back with Slash.
