Scaleslash walked into the clearing, surrounded by the rest of Riverclan.
Shadestar and Shadowclan followed behind them, Shadestar's head high and eyes shining.

Owlstar and Thunderclan were already there. He kept having apprentices beg for him to get early so they could talk to the other apprentices, they soon got to him and he just wanted to shut them up, but he did tell them 'Do it again and there will be no Thunderclan apprentices at the next gathering after this one!'
Eclipseshine was silent as she walked with Shadowclan.
(I'll play Eelstar from Riverclan. Who's the leader for Windclan?)

Scaleslash chatted with warriors from other clans.

Windclan finally arrived. "Sorry. Had a bit of trouble at camp." Rabbitstar said, leaping into his spot. "Lets begin."
Eelstar nodded as Owlstar called the clans together.

Shadestar sat back and motioned for Eelstar to start.
Scaleslash stopped talking and turned his head to listen. 'I wonder what Eelstar'll say about the flood.' He thought.
Blossomclaw was sitting with the other medicine cats, waiting for someone to speak.

Eclipseshine still said nothing.
Owlstar was quiet.
Rabbitstar looked to make sure everyone was listening.
Eelstar nodded, "Alright! Since everyone is here, let's start." He flicked his ear. "Riverclan had a flood not too long ago, but we were able to soon move back and repair our camp. We are still strong after the flood. There has been no new apprentices or warriors." He sat back down, "Who's next?"

Shadestar stepped up, chin high. "ShadowClan was attacked by rats not too long ago. We were not weakened by the attack, with the exception of our medicine cat, Dimfang." He dipped his head. "Prey is good, especially thanks too the rats, and we have a new medicine cat, Eclipseshine." He stepped back.
Blossomclaw looked around. "Dimfang's dead?!" Her eyes were wide. "I suppose that's why only you're here today Eclipsepaw. Um, I mean Eclipseshine." She seemed sad, but at the same time happy for the new medicine cat.

Eclipseshine didn't reply or move. She just flicked her ear.
Owlstar stepped up next. "Prey has been plentiful, same as everyone. We also have a new apprentice, Canyonpaw."
Rabbitstar waited for the cheers to die down. "Like Owlstar said, prey is running and good for Windclan too. We have a new warrior, Hawkheart, but sadly she couldn't make it to the Gathering."

(I am changing it up a bit, instead of leaving after the leaders talk, the cats chat until either clouds cover the moon, for some reason a fight breaks out, or until it just starts getting late  I've always felt meetings in the books should be longer." |

Eclipseshine stayed where she was, not wanting to talk to the others.
Rabbitstar closed his eyes and looked to the sky. "Starclan, please watch them. Where ever they are.." he whispered.
Owlstar laid down on the branch and watched the apprentices talk.

Shadestar jumped into the crowd and onto a rock. From there he watched the cats talk.
Blossomclaw nudged Eclipseshine. "You alright?" He asked gently.
Scaleslash was happily chatting with some other warriors.

Eelstar and Rabbitstar started having a conversation.
Owlstar was hanging upside down and he spooked the apprentices.
Eclipseshine gave a small nod. "Yeah, I just lost the most important cat in my life." She said, then closed her eyes. "Blossomclaw, what would you do if you weren't ready for something and you had no help and you had to keep it a secret?" She asked.

Blassomclaw comfortingly rested her tail on the new medicine cat's shoulders. "I would look to my closest friend. The one I trust most. Sometimes you just need someone to confide in." There was a suspicious glint in her eye but she didn't question anything. She wanted to help, not pry.

Eclipseshine flicked an ear and looked away. "That's what I thought you would say." She muttered, "And no one is allowed to know my secret." She stood up and walked away.
Owlstar yawned, wanting to go home. Same for Rabbitstar and Eelstar.
(All the leaders are toms..)

Blossomclaw frowned. "If you want to talk, don't be afraid to look to your fellow medicine cats!" She called after her. "They'll listen. It's what we do best..."
Scaleslash was rolling around.
