The door was opened by a shadowy figure "I see you made it" the female voice said. Vines had grown all around the house and there was a bunch of cracks.

Sophia soon stopped crying and gave a small smile that she was okay, as the last tear came upon her face she wiped it away with her paw. "Im fine.." She said her voice was still a hint of shakiness.

James shrugged. "Why wouldn't I? Besides, my shadow keeps pestering me about coming. Had to threaten it with a flashlight just to make it stop." He then realized he still had the bandage over his eye, which he was fine with.
Snow opened her eyes and growled in response. She handed her a note. 'That's what my older brother said before he died. So shut up, your not fine, you were just crying. Now come on, ya hungry?'

The shadowy figure nodded and noticed the bandage "May I ask what happened? Oh and my bad please do come in" she said as she motioned towards a table. "Need anything?" She asked inside looked nothing like the outside inside was all nice and looked fairly new.

(Interesting twist to snow me likey :3 ok I imagine that the snowflakes melt in Sophia's palm/paw but if they don't where does she put them XD )
Sophia was shivering. She nodded. "please" she said in reply as she says down at the table

(They disappear after their used. Like when someone reads a message that's on one of her snowflakes, it disappears because it's been used.)
'What would ya like? I have a lot of meat in here...buffalo....pig....beef....chicken....and....never mind, you probably don't want that..' Snow looked at Sophia for an answer. (And when she messaged 'you probably dont want that' She meant bugs, because she is part bat)
James walked in and sat at the table. "No thank you. I'm good. And the bandage..." He put a paw on it. "I slipped and fell into glass, one stabbing my eye. I had surgery, but they couldn't give me another. People made fun of me after and I stayed in the shadows. I stayed in the shadows so much that everything started to come alive, even my own shadow. They cared for me more than my actual family. One of them gave me a new eye, but you probably don't want to see it..."

"Call me James, and call my shadow whatever." James suddenly felt his shadow tighten around his neck. "L-Let go damn it! You never told me your name!" He coughed, but his shadow wouldn't let go.
Snow cooked the chicken, then gave the plate with the cooked chicken and with mustard on the side to Sophia. She heard a squeak and looked, seeing a mouse. Her instincts kicked in and she dropped on all fours. She take a few steps before pouncing onto the mouse. She sat up and remembered she wasn't alone like usual. 'Sorry...instincts.' She said and picked up the mouse. She whistled and a hawk landed on her wing. Snow gave the mouse to the hawk before it flew off to the table in the living room.

(Missed a lot. I'll just say Vazen was doing something random... And I completely forgot about my evil character x3)
Vazen was sitting in a park, pretending to read but actually watching the people around him. He noticed someone looking particularly upset and considered walking over, but didn't want to be questioned.

A bright shape moved through the crowd, eyes glowing along with its pelt. He stopped outside a small house and walked through the door, disappearing behind it with a click.

With the swipe of a shadowy hand James' shadow flew back against the wall struggling like he/she was being choked I let go after a few minutes. "Hmph Interesting Most other people want to know what they are working for but not you... And I feel like I can trust you..." I said with a shrug

Sophia just shrugged and let her be "Cool Hawk" She replied to the bird.

James toke a few deep breaths. "For one, thank you. And two, considering my life has been a load of heck in the past, I just knew that whatever I agreed to, isn't going to be boring. I need that spark in my life." He toke his bandage off, revealing his black eye and his blood red pupil. "And I feel I can trust you, Sarafine. More than anyone else I've met."
Sophia shrugged. 'Considering that's the one and only animal that would stay with me through my lonely years, I take care of him.' She messages and walked to the living room. She curled up on the floor like a usual house cat would do. 'Oh, and can I ask you something?'

James toke Sarafine's paw with his own. "Yep, it sure seems like it."

Sophia sighed ten shrugged "I can try but I'm not the best teacher" She said.
Sarafine nodded. Then let go and say down the only thing that you could see was her Dark Dark blue eyes.
